This unique venue, set within the historic shell of the former Buffalo Color Corp, offers a striking industrial backdrop in an otherwise manufacturing district. The building has fantastic "bones" and boasts two spacious event areas, though a few finishing touches are needed to fully reach a high-end aesthetic. We appreciated the new, secure parking lot, which added peace of mind. Attending for a corporate function, we found the service professional and the food generally impressive. While the beef carving station was unfortunately a bit tough, the turkey was a standout and the desserts were delicious.

Very cool historic building. Went here for a wedding. The chicken plate was very dry and needed more sauce/less dry chicken. Other than that, food was good. Staff was great here, adequate parking as well.

We held a business dinner event here and the service was horrible. Let’s start with the bar - the drinks were terrible. Way too much booze, zero flavor and the bar tenders were rude. We sat at 6 pm and dinner was supposed to be fully served no later than 6:45. That is when our program started. Only a few tables were served food by 7:00 pm. Which is when we started our program for our awards. They were still serving dinner until 7:10. The chicken was cold and stringy. It was terrible. During dinner service, the bar was open, and the bar line was 30 people deep because they had one bar tender on for an event with 360 people. I can not recommend this event venue.

My wife and I attended the Wine, Chocolate, and Whiskey Festival there, and while the festival was enjoyable, the venue stole the spotlight. Its spacious and well-thought-out design accommodated the crowd comfortably while maintaining an elegant and intimate charm. With its modern yet timeless decor and impeccable maintenance, the Powerhouse stands out as a top choice for memorable events. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable event space in Buffalo.

The Powerhouse is an impressive event center in Buffalo! It has the ability to transform and host everything from weddings to Whiskey Riots! I was there to attend the 2024 Whiskey Riot. Their security team did a great job directing the flow of human traffic waiting in the long line outside as well as in their lobby entrance. I was glad to have purchased the VIP tickets. It was definitely worth it. They made a big effort to give us true VIP treatment and made our entry a priority. The space is large and accommodating with two big rooms and beautiful floor to ceiling windows. They featured over a hundred vendors comfortably. It is a great space for a multitude of events!
