Such a quaint little coffee ☕️ shop tucked on a side street in Detroit. The barista was super friendly and helpful. The coffee was absolutely amazing. Plus they have a cute little market and some tables for chatting it up. They make you feel super welcome. The vibe is amazing.

Perfect coffee, high quality, decadent treats! We are visiting from Virginia and saw this place nestled into a small corner of town. It was the coziest place ever! The owner has lived in the neighborhood for over 50 years and I am so glad he is at the cusp of the rejuvenation of such a beautiful area! My new favorite go-to when visiting my hometown.

A cozy coffee shop and small grocery! The spot is perfect for enjoying a cup and one of many house made-treats and to "take and go". Ready made salads and sandwiches are fresh kept in the cooler -convenient for locals and commuters alike. The atmosphere is friendly and warm - weather permitting I can bring my pup at the outside tables. Jeff, the owner-operator is a valued community member who gives back with love.

Had a lovely morning at The Roost! My iced vanilla latte was deliciously smooth, with the milk frothed on the top instead of just poured in. There’s a little market with food, drinks and a few groceries, along with a case of baked goods that has something for everyone! I’ll definitely be back to try their sandwiches. The staff was very friendly and there was a great neighborhood vibe with outdoor tables.

I love the roost!!! One of my favorite coffee shops in the area. They have the cutest atmosphere and it’s a really nice place to sit when you just want to enjoy the day. They only have a few tables (2) inside, but they have some bistro tables outside. Some books are sitting out to read and learn more about Detroit. They also participate with “Too Good To Go” and I’ve snagged some very cheap bags of older pastries that are still so yummy.
