We had a lovely date night at the Ruxton. Our server, Rosa, was attentive and helpful without overdoing it. The house tater tots with crème fraîche and caviar were fun, though a bit heavy and masked the other flavors. The steaks were fantastic, and we finished with lemon meringue cheesecake, limoncello, and an espresso martini—great ending to the meal. The only downside was how close the tables were; it got noisy and made conversation difficult.

This was our first time here but likely not our last. We drove from DC and it was well worth the trip. I had the bison steak while my wife had the chicken fried lobster tail, both of which we found delicious and good portion sizes. Several of the staff stopped by to check if there was anything our (4 year old) daughter needed or would like, but while they don’t have a kid’s menu they still brought her the extra bread and lemonade she was looking for. All the desserts we tried were great, we are still talking about the Butter Cake a day later. Parking was easy - the garage was right next door.

Outstanding experience at the Ruxton Steakhouse on a busy Saturday night. Our server Juquan M was exceptional. He made great recommendations - chargrilled oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail, plus the porterhouse and tomahawk steaks to share. He clearly knows the menu and how to work with guests to come up with the perfect order. The steaks were excellent and Juquan helped us order the right amount of food for our group. Highly recommend The Ruxton if you are looking for a great steakhouse experience in Baltimore.

The RUXTON is the perfect restaurant for that special occassion dinner! To male a reservation was very simple. I do recommend getting a reservation in order a few days before your planned date. The decor and ambience were really chill. The staff are EXCELLENT! Between me and my date, we ordered all seafood dishes, but, we plan to return to try the steak😎 As far as what we had, the Crab cak3s were mostly backing. And, the fries were an easy pass. The creamed spinach is delicious. The jail Island Salmon and Lobster Tail were FANTASTIC! Since it was my date's birthday, they gave her a nice card and a complimentary peice of cake.

Whenever I come to Baltimore, the Ruxton Restaurant and Bar is a must-visit. The food is outstanding and the customer service is truly top-tier. Our server, Abby, took amazing care of us—professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. The drinks were on point. We had the New York Strip, butterflied perfectly, and I had the crab cakes with waffle fries, which were excellent. The lemon butter prawns appetizer was something special, especially with that sauce and the fresh bread. All in all, a great experience from start to finish. If you're in Baltimore and want five-star food with ten-star service, this is the place to be.
