Absolutely loved our experience here! The Italian food was delicious from start to finish, and the service truly stood out thanks to our waiter, John. We kicked things off with the fritto misto — a perfect mix of tempura shrimp, calamari, and fennel. Crispy, light, and SO good. I have a dairy allergy, and John was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful, making excellent recommendations and ensuring everything was accommodated without issue, which I really appreciated. For entrées, I had the chicken cacciatore, which was hearty, flavorful, and comforting in the best way. I also ordered gluten-free penne pasta on the side, which unfortunately was not very good and came out a bit mushy — the only miss of the night. My friend ordered a custom pasta with vodka sauce, mafalde pasta, and chicken Parmesan meatballs — it looked amazing and she loved it. Dessert was a whole experience on its own thanks to the in-house bakery. My friend sampled a few gelatos and creams, and chose espresso cream to fill her pistachio chocolate cannoli (an elite choice). I grabbed several tarallucci cookies to take home — at only $1 each, it was impossible to resist. Fantastic food, attentive and accommodating service, and thoughtful details throughout. Huge shoutout to John for making the night even better. We’ll definitely be back!
Cute place- love the intimate ambience and the attached bakery in the backside of the restaurant. We tried the Vodka sauce pizza, the pappardelle pasta with the chef’s favorite tomato sauce, and the tiramisu. The pasta was so fresh and the sauce was so high quality! Even though we split the pasta, we still struggled to finish it, so really great portions. I thought the vodka sauce pizza would be more flavorful than it was. It was an interesting idea but I didn’t really taste the calabrian chilis- I think the caramelized onion really overpowered everything else but a unique option nevertheless. The service was a bit slow, and my partner did order meatballs which were dense and very difficult to cut through and tasted very dry. Of course they were kind enough to comp us for that, but a slightly disappointing experience in that regard. The tiramisu was a bit liquor forward in its taste. Overall, I would return for the pasta!
I celebrated my birthday at The Sicilian Butcher, and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal. The food was outstanding from start to finish, every bite was delicious. Our server, Adil, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of throughout the night. To top it off, Allen, the manager, came to our table and took the time to personally speak with us, which truly made the evening feel special. He even surprised me with a birthday dessert and genuinely rolled out the red carpet. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Exceptional food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel celebrated. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend The Sicilian Butcher to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
Opened in August, first time experience (late lunch). The establishment was super clean, fresh, and great day vibes, I can only imagine how great it looks in the evening. Huge outdoor dining and seating as well for those that like to eat or socialize outside. Was greeted and seated right away by the host. Server, Christopher, immediately came and welcomed us and explained the menu and gave awesome recommendations (which we ordered). Surprisingly, the menu was not too overwhelming loaded with options like other places. Apps ordered was the garlic bread which was light, airy, and fluffy, good toast on the outside with thin shaved cheese and side of butter. Had a great garlic, herb, cheese flavor, very addicting! 2nd app, Fritto Misto, fried calamari, shrimp, and fennel. It was lightly breaded with slight salty flavor not heavily greasy and with a spritz of lemon was a good combo with the light marinara dipping sauce. Only some of the calamari rings were a tad rubbery/over cooked but majority were fine. Our favorite entree that Christopher recommended was the Cannelloni, the flavors were amazing and the cream sauce with a splash of this (what I would describe) splash of Italian chili (almost reminded me of a great Italian version of an enchilada), stuffed with spinach with cream, meat mix. It was something we've never had before and was one of the best dishes we tasted. For dessert you definitely cannot miss their Gelato (Salted Caramel & Hazelnut Crunch were a great not too sweet treat) creamy and crunch textures, and baked goods were just as yummy, we didn't get any cannollis this go round but we will definitely be back to try their other dishes!!
Italian cuisine is my absolute least favorite. That being said, our meal at TSB was the BEST MEAL OF ANY CUISINE IVE HAD IN YEARS. I got to taste flavors and combinations, I as a foodie, have never tasted before. The meal was exciting and evoked emotion. Our server Roberto was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave us helpful recommendations as well as top notch service. He even went above and beyond to celebrate our birthday with the most delicious tiramisu I’ve ever had (and normally I absolutely hate tiramisu lol). We will definitely be back and regularly. We live an hour north and the drive and price point is so worth it. Gotta check this place out.
