I have found my new place in Dallas for delicious and beautiful cakes! Ashraf (Grandma at Grandma's Bakery) was easy to communicate with. I didn't have a photo of what I wanted the cake to look like so she sent me examples of other cakes in the theme I wanted. We discussed what my cake would look like and it came out even more beautiful than described. You have to order your own cake toppers and Ashraf was kind enough to even send me an Amazon link to example toppers matching my cake theme. I got a two-tiered cake, one strawberry flavor and one vanilla and both were incredibly moist and delicious! The cake was a true hit at the birthday party and many guests asked where we had gotten such a tasty cake. Highly recommend Grandma's Baskery and I look forward to returning.
I did some research on bakeries to find the perfect place to make my mom’s 80th birthday cake. Grandma’s Bakery had the most beautiful cakes and consistent reviews. I explained what I wanted and they delivered. Beautiful cake and also made fresh and delicious! The delivery was very professional and punctual. Overall, a wonderful experience and I will be back again!
This cake was an 11/10. Grandmas Bakery took our inspiration photos and went above and beyond for a Sweet 16 birthday cake - with less than a 3 day timeframe! I am so grateful to the owner for her patience and constant attention to details. I would 100% order a custom cake from them again! The cake was a delicious strawberry cake with buttercream icing. So many compliments all around. Even her delivery driver was so patient and kind. Their whole team is amazing. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you so much Grandma’s Bakery!
A friend referred me to Grandma’s Bakery. I ordered a half-sheet cake (chocolate with butter cream icing), to serve at my mom’s 90th birthday party. Grandma herself took the order by phone…easy. When I returned to town a few days later, I dropped by the shop to confirm the details…all good…easy in/out, clean/sparse shop. The cake was ready on schedule and as beautiful and delicious as I expected. Grandma and Grandpa even carried the cake and put it in my trunk! She sent me a text after the party and asked how things went. I recommend Grandma’s Bakery without hesitation. Thank you, Grandma’s!
I had a bakery cancel on me last minute, I called grandmas bakery looking for a miracle. That’s exactly what I got, she delivered a beautiful cake and saved my event with less than 24 hrs. Not only was it beautiful & delicious, she carried it out to my car and made sure I knew how to open the box and get it out of the car without damaging the cake. She puts so much care and love into her work and you can tell. Will definitely be using her in the future!
