I visited the spa salon at The Miami Beach EDITION yesterday for a simple blow dry and left pretty disappointed. They charged $150 plus gratuity, which is extremely steep for what I received. The hairdresser was friendly and polite, but the blow-dry itself was very basic, honestly something worth $35 at best. I specifically asked for a round brush blow-out with volume, but he couldn’t manage it and switched to a curling iron instead. Even then, the result still looked flat and didn’t last more than an hour. Definitely not the premium level of styling you’d expect at this price point or from a hotel like EDITION. Nice staff, but overall a huge waste of money. I wouldn’t return for hair services here.

I booked a massage online for $225 for 50 minutes for September 19th. The massage was great. The problem was that as I was checking out the black lady was rude. Not very hospitable to be working at a spa at a high end hotel. When she gave me my receipt, I saw the total was $324. She said gratuity was included. Okay, great. But that is not what I had paid for and agreed to when I booked my massage. She was arguing with me that the massage prices say starting from on the website. I never saw that and I double checked and didn't see that anywhere on the website. Her attitude was gross, she said she knows the website very well with a smart attitude. I told her it doesn't say it anywhere and she didn't care to listen to me. Very bad customer service. My friends massage was booked by a friend of hers who did not go. The lady would not let her check out with the card that was on file that had secured the massage. Other hotels I have been to have allowed for the card on file to checkout with. Many people get gifted massages so I don't know why this lady did not allow it and was rude about it. Please get front of the spa employees that are pleasant.

My therapist Jose Gutierrez was an absolute delight! He is so attentive , kind and detail oriented. He made me feel like I was on cloud 9. An escape from reality with each touch . I definitely will be coming back just for him. Bravo!

My experience was amazing! The receptionist was so warm and gave me the best tour of the facility. The place is beautiful! Now to the massage, Dongwook is the best!! He was able to take care of some knots in my neck! I was so relaxed throughout the whole experience. I will definitely come back again!!

Beautiful spa. Very serene, airy & comfortable. Team was all attentive, caring and friendly. Unfortunately the 2 massages were the worst ever experienced. Was not relaxing nor beneficial and seemed very novice. Couldnt wait for it to end. Mandatory 20% tip was surprising. Would have done that anyway but would prefer a choice. Price is expensive and the ambience and great attitude didn't make up for it. Feeeback that massage was not great when asked, received no reply.
