I cannot recommend The Studio highly enough. The standard of teaching and accompanying pianists makes each class joyful and satisfying. We look after each other through life’s up and downs and I can honestly say that thanks to everyone involved, Mrs Christie, Fabrice and my fellow dancers, The Studio feels like extended family.

I started dancing at The Studio at 3 years old and went to classes weekly right through until I was 17, returning again years later for adult classes. The Studio has a wonderful, nurturing atmosphere and dancing to live piano music is a brilliant experience to have growing up. I have incredibly happy memories of every single lesson, all of which were lead by Mrs Christie. She is a fantastic teacher, kind, patient, and good humoured. The show was a yearly highlight. As a mother myself now I can't wait to send my son for lessons. Highly recommended for adults and children alike!

My daughter has been dancing at The Studio for 14 years. Whilst there, she has learned the ability to express herself, communicate with others, work in a team, the sense of responsibility due to your friends, colleagues and teacher when working together, and to respect the work ethic expected of her. Maureen Christie has been a real inspiration to my child and she will take the kindness, love and support she has received from Maureen with her as she moves on to university after the summer. I cannot recommend The Studio highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of this school. Those who attend and families who support the students are so privileged to be part of this wonderful community. The standard of teaching (by Maureen Christie), professionalism and musicianship are flawless and without question. The level of care, respect and kindness given to the pupils of all ages, abilities and physicality's is very special indeed. I say this as a mother but also as a former Education Officer with Scottish Ballet and as a Dance professional with over 20 years of teaching and creative movement facilitation experience. I have seen, experienced and delivered many classes! There is no other ballet or dance school that I would rather send my little girl to and I feel privileged that we are fortunate enough to be part of the Studio.

I have attended classes at The Studio as a child and as an adult, and played piano to accompany classes for a couple of years also. I couldn't recommend it more, such happy memories from my childhood, Mrs Christie is incredible with the children, as are all the teachers at The Studio, and it's been a great community to be a part of, right through to adulthood. Pupils here are so lucky to dance to live music in this really special environment. I can't wait to take my own children to these classes as soon as they are old enough!
