The ease of checking in and out was well done. The coffee and breakfast was 5 stars alone! The environment was quiet, peaceful and slow paced. Well worth the drive & cost! Colleen is a reachable and accommodating host, thank you! Highly recommend.

Nice, clean, comfy little cottage. The bed was amazing and the best one we have ever slept on through a VRBO. The owner Colleen, makes a fresh breakfast and delivers it to your door. We had French toast with fresh fruit and orange juice. It was delicious.

We stayed at the Virginia May for a quick mid-week staycation, and we couldn’t be more pleased! The cabin was cozy and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The smartest thing we did, though, was to order an in-cabin dinner. Colleen is a wonderful host and an excellent chef!

We recently stayed at the Virginia May and were completely enamored with the area. There is so much to do in the way of hiking, eating, or doing nothing but sitting on the cottage porch in the rocking chairs drinking coffee and watching the deer. Breakfasts are to die for...Colleen is a first class chef and her charming pup Gibson is always a delight. We highly recommend folks to come and experience first hand the amazing Viginia May
