This is the most charming old home in the heart of Fort Worth's Southside, which is incredibly convenient for the downtown and Main/Magnolia Street areas. Hosts Darlene & Jim are so kind, generous, and welcoming and will go out of their way to make sure you feel at home! Fresh baked pastries, water, and tea are available 24/7. I stayed in Sunset, one of the five rooms available. It has a lovely little screened private porch adjacent to the room and one can, indeed, watch the sunset from there in complete comfort. There are also many wonderful places both inside and out (such as on their incredible wrap around porch!) to curl up with a book and read or watch the day go by. This place was created for peace and to give visitors a gentle time and space to rest and it shows in the details of this lovingly attended and cared for home. Three Danes Inn is absolutely a treasure and should be a must-stay if you're visiting Fort Worth.
What a charming experience at Three Danes Inn during our trip to Fort Worth. Jim and Darlene are some of the best hosts we’ve ever had on our travels and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable stay just a short drive from the Stockyards. The pastries were also absolutely delicious!
Overall Excellent place to stay. A few minutes to downtown or wherever in Fort Worth you need to go. Darlene and her husband are wonderful hosts and have great coffee and pastries waiting every morning.
This historic property is quite beautiful inside and out. Our room was not huge but had a nice bath and was quite comfortable. We were always made to feel very welcome as we came and went. There is an amazing sitting room with delicious complimentary bakery treats and bottled water available 24/7. It is in a great location, a short drive to the CBD and Stockyards and walking distance to some nice food places. We walked the short distance to Hop Fusion brewery and Panther city BBQ, and enjoyed both thoughoughly. A high recommend for Three Danes Inn.
Loved my stay here! The house is well taken care of and my room was way bigger than I expected! The service was fantastic and it was super easy to check-in. The pastries were also so delicious! Would recommend the Three Danes to anyone staying in Fort Worth and will definitely be back!
