Totally dehumanizing experience. As a black woman, I was blatantly followed and closely watched as I walked through the store full of other customers. It seemed like racial profiling to an almost absurd degree.

I live 70 miles from Double D Ranch headquarters in Yoakum, Texas. While I have access to purchase there(which I do) I make a special trip to Albuquerque every year (sometimes twice) just to shop Double D and purchase from Trudy at The Wild Rose. Why? Because she is funny, engaging, spirited and holds unbelievable knowledge AND inventory of the Double D brand. As well she carries other high end western apparrel clothing and accessories. EVERYONE who shops here KNOWS they are a star. The store is pure magic. It is a priviledge to shop at The Wild Rose.
