Travelled for work, and stayed 2 nights in Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa and I must say that I have really enjoyed the stay. Room was spacious and clean, lovely swimming pool, quiet room and saunas. Staff is very helpful and polite. The only confusing thing was breakfast time - on the website is mentioned that breakfast is served by 11.30 am, went down at 9.30 only to be told that breakfast is served until 9am. It has been sorted, but maybe something that can be looked into and made clearer for the guests.
Really enjoyed our stay. Years since we last stayed with you and impressed you’ve maintained quality of facilities and service. Lovely clean room, very friendly staff - reception, restaurant, spa and cleaning staff included. Still a real luxury as it’s not cheap but it feels like a treat so worth it
We had a lovely stay at this hotel with spa and pool facilities on a bed and breakfast and dinner basis. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to clearly explain all of the facilities. The staff around the pool area were especially helpful and attentive, which made the experience even more relaxing. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with thoughtful added extras such as robes, slippers, and a hairdryer, which really added to the feeling of a proper spa break. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of the stay, and breakfast was also enjoyable and set us up well for the day. The only small downside was the lack of a socket next to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient, but overall this was a great stay and we would happily return.
We booked a room for my Dad's 90th birthday party - December, 2025 and were supported every step of the way by Events Manager, Ruby whose communication was outstanding. She went out of her way to accommodate the variety of needs in our party and to book appropriate accommodation including an accessible room. We cannot thank her enough. Our thanks to the chef who was brilliant - 'tell us what you want and we will do our best to deliver'. The food for our group of 13 was amazing and beautifully presented just as we ordered. Great food choices too on the set menus. Thanks to our waiting staff - SO DISCREET! We had arranged presentations between courses and cards and messages to read out but somehow the table was magically cleared (at a relaxed pace which we requested) and next courses delivered in an equally non-intrusive way. Very impressive - as was the topping up of our wine and water! We send our heartfelt thanks to Dan and Jane they too are outstanding. We highly recommend this venue and, as it is the third family event we have booked at Thorpe Park, we cannot praise the staff highly enough from reception to bar and restaurant to housekeeping. What a team and what a lovely, well cared for hotel.
We had lunch in the bar which was lovely, check in was easy, the room was great - clean, spacious and comfortable. We were disappointed by the spa facilities. There was nowhere to sit, the quiet room beds and chairs were all in use, there was hardly any space to put our towel/robe anywhere as it was so busy, so we had to pile them on top of each other in a small space. The hot tub, sauna and steam room were always full. The floor on the walk from poolside to toilets and toilets were dirty. I've been twice before and had no problem, but I think they need to consider giving time slots on a Saturday for spa facilities use to limit the amount of people in there at any time. It was also very noisy as there was so many people there. We had room service and the food was nice, but was a bit more casual than I'd have expected - paper bag, cardboard packaging and 1 set of wooden cutlery. I'd stay again for the hotel room, but possibly only in the week in the hope that we'd get better value from the spa facilities and enjoy it more.
