Keith is amazing! I had to use their locker service for my purse for the padres game (i had a small bag but it wasn't tiny enough to pass by the ball park’s standard) it was $10 to leave my purse there bc all their $20 lockers were taken. Keith told me they had never misplaced a bag ever so I was like okay, I’ll trust him. And I was so grateful after the game to pick up my purse that was safely stored there. Thank you so much. I appreciate it so much and I would recommend them to anyone in a pinch if they are at the padres game and their bag is too big. Thank you!!!
Had such a fun time!! I've always been hesitant to go axe throwing but the instructor was knowledgeable and helped us make the most of our time. Highly recommend ! Fun, and easy activity for a group!!
Had a Blast! Great spot to thew axes, and have fun with friends. 90’s arcade games, and amazing artwork really sets the vibes. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
One of the funnest things to do in the Gaslamp District in downtown San Diego. Ax throwing at targets. ThrowIt! is so much fun. They have an ax you can throw with one arm, a larger ax if you want to throw with two arms and even a shovel. It may take you a minute or two to figure out how to throw them correctly, but once you do, you will have so much fun. This was adventure #43 of my 57 Adventures in 57 Hours in San Diego. Thanks for such a wonderful and amazing time.
Some good things to say is They have shovels to throw, Location is in the center, Walk-ins are possible at 9 or 10 on a Saturday. Some things that I did not like: I’ve been to at least ten axe throwing places before, and checked places that host local leagues (those are treasures) $30 per two hours per lane for 1 person to practice as much as you want, leagues with potlucks that make each visit around $15-20 for the whole evening and so on. They don’t have much space to do anything like that and they are in the center so I understand why we can’t compare the cost for this, and they have to cramp people together. And in compare to other places when you can use two lanes even for a little group to play tournament style when both players are throwing at the same time their 5 throws, this place gave us one lane. For $60 for an hour. When I called in advance to say that we are going to be a bit late and they said they are overbooked, I specifically said ok I understand if that’s so, I’m not going to argue and I understand it completely if after us we will see that almost all lanes are busy and I’ll be happy to play our 45 minutes instead of 60. But if they are not overbooked I’d appreciate if they can give us those extra 15 minutes, coz parking in that area SUCKS! On the phone it was too much of a big deal for them, so we just checked what will happen. The “overbooked” was said without any reasons, when we got there couple lanes were empty when we were leaving all lanes were empty except one. I did not like aspect of defending the point on the phone with a lie. I worked for 10 years in places related to customer service, escape rooms, axe throwing, cafes. Anything like I’ll see what we can do, and it depends if there are other lanes after you would have been much better approach instead of saying strict no and reading me policy over the phone that I know. So that’s why 4 and not 5 stars
