So I’ve been going here since it opened. It’s fun and all but lately the customer service and food service has been horrible.Several food items were not available said the truck hadn’t come yet.The restaurant manager a real jerk. My food was not cooked all the way and he laughed at me said he cooked it for the right time and there is nothing he can do about it. Told me if I was hungry I needed to go to a place that cares. He looked very frustrated for a Saturday night. They need way more staff. The nice man at the game counter James was great but his hygiene was horrible he smelled so bad of smoke. Several service buttons were going off and no one seemed to care it got very annoying they went for a good 10 or more minutes so me and my family left. As we were walking out the dining room very filthy and one of the rooms it looks like they do for parties also filthy.
Unique arcade games not seen at other places like round1. Lack of rythm games so hope they get those soon. Interesting claw machine prizes but could be better. I prefer exclusive or cute prizes over squishmallows
We came here because Malibu Jacks was packed with school groups. Paid just over $80 for 2 and a half hours of fun. Could have gotten an all day pass at Malibus for two for cheaper. Does not make sense nor was it as great of atmosphere.
I took my wife and kids last Wednesday. April 2nd. We had a guy who worked there who really made our experience a whole lot more enjoyable. He seemed to be the only one working that night even tho there were several other employees on the clock. I think all the workers should have his energy or just hire some more people. The pizza was really good, tho. I would rather eat that pizza over any other pizza spot in Louisville. There were several games we played that took money from our cards but didn't allow us to play that game. It happened multiple times and never received compensation for losing my money. So that needs to be fixed. Other than that, thanks to Thomas, we ended up enjoying our night.
It’s impossible to not compare this place to Round1. Especially with it being in the same location. There are no rhythm games here at all. Not even a DDR cabinet which was a big draw for Round1. They do have a decent amount of claw machines. And this place did have a few machines that I’ve actually never seen before and I ended up playing when I went. I did the 40 for 20 dollar deal for 200 credits on Monday evening. The employe wasn’t aware of this, but a manager was able to get me set up. I was impressed with the variety of coin/marble pusher games. Some are older machines that aren’t around much anymore which brings a unique experience. The prizes inside Over the Edge were interesting and I managed to win a small prize. You only get 5 balls per 12 credit swipe which is not a lot. I only experienced one pusher that wasn’t fully working. The biggest disappointment here was the prize room. It’s mostly cheap run of the mill arcade prizes. Round1 really stood out because of how high quality the prizes were. I was interested in the giant Pokemon plush, however you cannot win these with regular tickets. These can only be won by playing a carnival style water gun game. Which is frustrating because I have no interest in that and these were the only prizes I liked. Overall I did appreciate seeing games here that were new to me. However, none of the prizes are worth playing for so that will unfortunately prevent me from frequenting this place like I do Dave & Busters.
