Excellent Service and Fair Prices! I had a great experience at Tire Surplus. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and got my new wheels and tires installed quickly. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for honest and reliable tire service!

Winter Tires and Wheels. Sounds like a really easy purchase... except when it's not. Last sentence first: Sam was exceptionally great to deal with — new tires and wheels among a number of great options. I'm a happy customer, and I'll be back. My 2023 AMG GLE 63s came with 22" wheels mounted with summer tires. The wheels are offset and staggered. While I genuinely appreciate the Parts Team at my Mercedes dealership and a trusted connection who owns an independent shop, neither had winter-wheel inventory — and Mercedes recommended an aftermarket wheel. What both the dealership and the indie shop gave me were the wheel specs for a 20" wheel. Calling around led to, “No, we don’t have that spec,” and a bit of desperation... winter is coming! Sam helped me understand the confusion created by my well-meaning contacts at the dealership and indie shop. He'll also knew what works (specifically relating to wheel offsets). What I believed I needed and very hard to find: Front: 275/50R20 9.5J ET57 Offsett Rear: 275/50R20 9.5J ET45 Offsett What worked: Front: 275/50R20 9.5J ET35 Offsett Rear: 275/50R20 9.5J ET35 Offsett While in Sam’s lobby, I met others — most have been doing business with him for as long as 15 years. » A father brought his daughter to get winter wheels and tires for her Alfa Romeo. » A husband brought in his wife’s Mercedes GLK for winter wheels and tires. » Owners of a Range Rover, Toyota Tacoma, Audi S4, Chevy pickup — and the list goes on. I came in on a Saturday morning. Wheels were in stock, tires were ordered and delivered the same day, and both were installed by the end of the day. Lastly, Sam didn’t try to oversell me or anyone in the shop. He offered choices and opinions from lived experience. He had low-cost options and premium options, and gave the customer space to choose. Oh — one thing I always notice: how people treat others, including their team and family. Despite the constant flow of customers and questions, Sam made time for everyone. When his wife and children showed up unexpectedly to say hi, he greeted and hugged them immediately. Great shop. Obvious competency in both product and service. Great experience. NOTE: I noticed Sam doesn’t have an assistant — he runs the front office himself. I did experience his automated text response, but I never saw him check email. If you want help, make the trip to his shop. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a very good experience at Tire Surplus. The staff who helped me, I think his name is Sam, is very knowledgeable about wheels and tires for different cars. He made sure the wheels I bought can fit my Lexus properly, even though my car has big brake calipers. Sam was also very fast and handled many customers at the same time, but he still answered all my questions patiently. After my winter tires arrived, I had the new wheels installed, and everything fits perfectly. The wheels look great quality, even though I am not an expert. The price is also very reasonable after I compared with many online stores. I really recommend this shop if you need new wheels or tires. I will come back again in the future for sure!

10000% recommend Sam & his team for your tires and rims! I connected with Sam on Facebook through one of his posts, he was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. He ensured the proper fit of my wheels to my car and recommended the best tires for it and was able to get me in for my wheel swap immediately. I could not be happier with my experience and my car, thank you so much Sam!
