We went for the Lights during the holiday season - did not see many animals, but that was not the reason or timing for the visit. The lights were glorious - they were very well planned and signed for folks with sensory issues, which we truly appreciate. This year we received a family pass from the zoo through our participation with an autism group. Thank you Toledo Zoo for your meaningful gift and efforts to being an inclusive space for children with neurodivegence. I took a lot of photos, but I was with a group and do not have their permission to share all of them

We loved the elephants and giraffes. We went during the Christmas lights. It wasn't busy. I expected the walkways to be crowded, but it wasn't. There was no charge for parking. Most of the animals you can't see, but we did see elephants, giraffes, birds, a rhino, and the aquarium.

First time at this Zoo and I definitely want to go back in the summer! I loved the animals I did get to see & the beautiful lights during Christmas time. I went for an event as an Eastern Alumni and I enjoyed the catering event, the service of the workers, the variety, the cleanliness, and how friendly the greeting was from the start. I enjoyed my time there, it was fun and there were many memories made before Christmas that I will never forget. This Zoo is enforced as well which is helpful & there are plenty of locations to sit, warm up, eat, and to go sight see. I with there were more lights in the area where the animals are at and more bathrooms overall but other than that this place was nice!

We visited the Toledo Zoo before Christmas, and the holiday lights were really beautiful and created a lovely festive atmosphere. However, most of the animals were inside because of the cold weather, so we couldn’t see as many as we hoped. What disappointed me the most was the cost. We had to pay for parking, and the entrance fees were quite expensive for what was offered during the light show. For the price, I expected a bit more to be included. It was still a nice experience to enjoy the lights, but I hope they improve the value for visitors in the future.

The Toledo Zoo is absolutely fantastic and one of our favorite places to visit! There’s so much to see and do, and every trip feels like a new adventure. The exhibits are beautifully designed and you can tell the animals are well cared for. We especially loved watching the playful otters🦦, strolling through the African Savanna🐫, and exploring the aquarium🐠. But the best parts of our visit? Riding the train 🚂and the carousel🎠—such fun for both kids and adults! And our most favorite experience of all was feeding the giraffes🦒. Getting that close to such gentle, incredible animals was unforgettable and definitely a highlight. The zoo is super family-friendly with clean facilities, great food options, and plenty of shaded spots to rest. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s easy to spend a full day here making memories. We absolutely love the Toledo Zoo and can’t wait to come back again soon!
