I would describe my experience with Tomtechi as "outstanding." Before contacting Tom I had requested service for the water dispenser in the door of my freezer from a "certified factory trained Kitchen Aid technician" who told me I had a leaking line which was a HUGE (and expensive) problem that would require a team of techs to pull out the refrigerator/freezer then elevate it so he could work on the leaking water line on the bottom of the unit. Because of the cost and work involved I avoided the problem by not using the water dispenser. The freezer developed a different problem and I contacted Tomtechi after getting a glowing recommendation on ChatGPT. Tom repaired both problems within 2 hours. He devised a "work-around" solution for the leak which didn't even require moving the refrig/freezer! All this for what I consider a reasonable price. He exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to call him for any future appliance problem.

Thomas is a great appliance service technician and owner of his business. He is very professional, yet warm and personable. He is very responsive to calls and online requests for service. Thomas is very knowledgeable about many brands, and is very experienced with whatever issue arises. He diligently and proactively researched my unusual steam issue with my oven, and came up with a solution. We definitely will rely on him for future appliance issues. Update: Thomas returned to address the problem with my KitchenAid ice maker, which are known for problems with pinched wires in the door that power the ice maker. Eight years ago, I was told by other repair techs that I needed to replace the door because of this design defect, but KitchenAid doesn’t warranty the issue. I had decided not to spend over a thousand dollars to replace the door. Thomas has seen this problem before and gave no guarantees, but said he might be able to weld the wires to correct the problem. He worked very hard on multiple visits to troubleshoot the problem, but in the end nothing worked. Thomas refused payment until he was satisfied there was nothing more he could do. Then, he refused full payment for a service call and only charged half for a diagnostic call. This after having come out for multiple visits!! He is a man of integrity like I’ve never seen in appliance repair techs. We definitely will be calling on him for all of our future appliance service needs.
