My partner and I both enjoyed our experience at Topolabamba in Glasgow and had a great experience overall. This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was good, the service was efficient and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Topolabamba in Glasgow city centre offers a great dining experience with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The food overall was very good, especially the vegetarian burrito and the naked burrito, both of which were fresh, flavourful, and filling. The loaded fries were also enjoyable and well prepared. One small downside was the rice, which felt a bit over-dried and could have been cooked better, which was slightly disappointing. That said, the atmosphere really stands out—vibrant, comfortable, and well lit, with seating that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive; when I hurt my hand, a staff member immediately helped with an ice pack and checked on my wellbeing multiple times, which was truly appreciated. Overall good place to enjoy Scottish version of Mexican cuisine.

Food is fresh and comes out quickly, a spicy surprise in some dishes, so if you don’t like too much spicy be sure to ask how hot dishes are, great atmosphere, oh and definitely have dessert, really really yummy! Take yourself out and have something different, it IS worth it.

First day in Glasgow and the first meal is here.. Dont get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the food, it just wasn’t very Mexican.. It lacked the proper spices but that is maybe to cater to the local tase.. The service was amazing and very accommodating. That much I liked. But the food wasn’t as good as the service was. The price wasn’t bad though. I would not recommend it as a place to have a proper Mexican place but I would rather say it is a safe option.

Amazing service and even better food, everything was REALLY delicious. We ordered the crispy fried fish, pork and Barbacoa tacos and grilled prawn tostadas, hard to pick a favorite. We arrived just before closing and the manger still sat us, we had Jonathan as our server and he was so patient and helpful, thank you for an amazing dinner and an even better service !
