I was in buying some Tito’s and an employee named Stan came up to me and asked if I was buying Tito’s, when I said yes he let me know about a vodka called Goodnight Loving, something cheaper and better he said. Man he was right that vodka has a sweet almost apple taste and is very smooth. Would definitely recommend listening to their recommendations.
“Wow! This place can really surprise you. They carry liquors you may have never tried before, and the staff are super friendly. You can even sample some of the hard liquors before buying. They also have wines from all around the world. I highly recommend this spot to anyone crossing the border from Canada — you must check this place out!”
I decided to add the photo of Kavanaugh Finest Irish Cream which I had purchased when I bought the Kings Creek Tennessee Whiskey Cider several weeks ago. Tonight I added it to a stemmed mug of hot coffee to see how it compares to Bailey's. One of the reasons I've always loved Bailey's, is the rich, smooth taste, like liquid velvet rolling across your palate. Kavanagh's smells like Bailey's but for me, that's where the resemblance ends. It's not a full body pour, as in it's consistency. Again, for my personal taste, it doesn't have the smooth, creamy and rich flavor I associate with Bailey's. Think of it as Bailey's Light. Served chilled on the rocks or in coffee, it's okay and, it is cheaper than Bailey's. It's what you pull out for company while keeping the Bailey's for your guilty pleasure! I'm glad I tried it, however, I'll take my own advice and save it for company.
We had a great time attending an event 'West Coast Wine Tasting Extravaganza' the other night at the Total Wines in Vancouver, WA! The team shared the stories behind 8 premium wines with thoughtful food pairing. Larry was a wonderful and knowledge host who helped us find the right wines. Will come back for the next events!
Second Total Wine & More that we’ve visited. This branch is located in Vancouver. Was looking specifically for ciders and bought a few One Tree Hard Cider cans ($11.99 USD for cranberry 4-pack, $4.99 USD for cider & stripes single). Layout is strange as they’re not in one location; some in the cider section, others in a completely different aisle. Know your prices as single cans are overpriced and 4-pack cans can be found cheaper (ie. Trader Joe’s). Even TW&M’s online prices are different than in-store.

Your ultimate destination for wine, spirits, and more—expertly curated for every taste.
