The layout, the energy, and even the music brought back so many great memories of being a kid and running to see what new toys had just come out. 🚀🪀 The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the store was clean and well-stocked. Who doesn’t want to be a Toys “R” Us kid? The moment I heard that San Marcos had one, I just had to go check it out. Seeing that classic logo again brought back a flood of childhood memories—the excitement, the joy, and that magical feeling of walking into a place filled with toys and possibilities. But sadly, walking inside this time didn’t bring that same feeling. It was quite different from what I remembered growing up. The energy, the variety, and that “wow” factor seemed to be missing. It felt more like a small section inside another store rather than the huge wonderland it used to be. Don’t get me wrong—it’s still nice to see the Toys “R” Us name back in action, but it just doesn’t have that same spark that once made it the ultimate destination for kids and families. Maybe it’s nostalgia talking, but I miss the magic that made being a Toys “R” Us kid something truly special.

Just when you thought all the Toys “R” Us has closed not here in San Marcos. It’s still open. The staff was really friendly and helpful and plenty of stuff in the store to see you will definitely find something you want.

These toy stores that have returned from the past, without the presence or model of what it was a few years ago. Little assortment and variety, expensive items, terrible service, the large ToysRus stores closed, because they could not compete in prices with online sales!!
