I can’t express enough how much I love this shop. I drive 1.5 hrs monthly to either just browse or pick up a special order. James and the entire staff are incredibly helpful, kind and patient. I have my 2 kids with me usually and they never act like they’re a bother to them when asking questions or just following them around. Their fish are always healthy and corals are beautiful. It’s worth the drive and I’ve never left unhappy.

I am completely new to saltwater/ reefing but after dealing with James and Reklaw reef, I feel like I could take on any size tank. Super knowledgeable, very welcoming, and personal experience from James. I wish I would’ve given this shop a chance a long time ago! You do have to make an appointment or reach out to visit the store but it is 100% worth the extra step, then to go and walk in any other store. Reklaw offers a complete one stop shop catered with any questions you have with all the answers. On top of the upfront personal shopping experience, the pricing is the best I’ve seen compared to all the other surrounding stores in San Antonio, with the most quality and care taken for all the live stock. I hope this is able to make anyone on the fence about going to make that step and call!
