Ms. Tracy made this stressed out mom/executive look and feel like a queen. She made me feel at ease while working her magic and let me tell you: I’m not sure I’ve ever felt more beautiful. I’m talking “check yourself out in every reflective surface” kind of confidence. This woman is an artist. Her skills are well worth the investment!

Tracy was and absolute delight to work with. From the first time we had a zoom meeting I knew I wanted to work with her. I struggled so much as a black woman new to Seattle to find someone who I felt confident could do my hair and makeup. I wanted to find an HMUA who could do all of my loved ones hair and makeup, and she made it clear that she was ready for the challenge. I appreciate how much care she has for her work, and that she was so responsive to the things that I and my bridesmaids needed. On the day of the event, she was amazing to work with. Helped me feel so much more at ease, hyping up the bridal party and in general making everyone feel and LOOK like a million dollars. I felt like a queen and that is directly a result of her amazing work. I so highly recommend working with Tracy!

Working with Tracy was a sea of red flags that ended with her and her assistant arriving to my wedding 30 minutes late and ultimately running an hour late per her own schedule for the day. She was also over 30 minutes late to my trial which she had rescheduled to be only 2 weeks before my wedding and she showed up without airbrush makeup which I had specifically requested and paid for. The trial hair was nice, and she said she remembered what I wanted then confidently met 0 of 3 low bar requirements for my wedding day hairstyle that I discussed with her but there was no time to try and fix it. I was so disappointed. She couldn’t remember a single thing that we discussed, even 4 days after she had sent me an email acknowledging and reiterating what had been communicated to her. She pushed one of my bridesmaids into reshaping her eyebrows and then used a shaver on them without permission when the bridesmaid said she would rather pluck if they needed to be adjusted. The only positive thing was that my makeup did look nice day of, but it wasn’t worth the stress of working with Tracy (who proactively apologized for her lateness with a $100 refund on $1850 of services). I don’t like posting bad reviews for small businesses but I feel the need to warn other brides about the difficulty of working with her.

Tracy is kind, caring, and incredibly easy to work with! While I was out of town in Seattle for my speaking engagements, she went above and beyond—traveling to my hotel to do my hair and makeup, even during heavy morning traffic. That kind of dedication meant the world, especially since the I had little idea how to navigate Seattle’s rush hour with a rental car! On the second day, Tracy was even kind enough to let me test out my own hairstyle idea. She’s not only talented, but also a genuinely pleasant and thoughtful conversationalist. Working with her was a true joy! 😀

Tracy was absolutely amazing. She was so personable and easy to talk with and we are both lovers of music and got to share artists with one another while I got ready. She was professional all around and arrived early and was very communicative throughout the whole process. My final look was more than I could have imagined, and I can't wait to see the look in photos. I will definitely use Tracy in the future and recommend her to my friends. Go with Tracy, you will be very happy with your choice.
