Learning Transcendental Meditation is the best thing I ever did in my life. I have been meditating regularly since 1975. Some people suggest learning online, in my opinion that's a big mistake as the live initial teaching is precious, sublime and provides an invaluable connection the tradition from which TM comes.

Save your money and either Google the technique or use Headspace. The total amount of teaching can be summed up in about 20 mins. Cost was $800. Not worth it. I tried to get a refund and had to deal with so many back and forth emails about all of the other people who praise the technique and how life changing it can be that I just gave up. Meditation is valuable. I have been and will keep practicing. But seriously, save your money and your time. Watching ancient videos from the 80s is not going to give you what you are looking for.

Zero success after attending the classes & following through with two a day home sessions. The instructor was nice, but he recites word for word from the TM technique script. (I found a TM technique script online, for free, literally verbatim). If you're having problems picking up the technique, good luck. You're given the same examples, that didn't work, to keep following. If you take the class and want a refund, do it within 30 days of enrolling otherwise you will not be refunded.
