I have been taking the Kung Fu classes for about a year and a half and have learned the Lau Gar Kuen form and the Sam Yin Kuen form. Kung Fu has greatly improved my overall health, in addition to gaining valuable self-defense skills. The classes start out with basic warmup routines, then move on to forms, conditioning, sparring, and other drills. The class is disciplined, yet fun and energizing. The students are friendly and supportive to each other and to new students. The vibe is always positive. The Hung Gar class is taught by Sifu Kelan Hightower, who studied under Grandmaster Sifu Ray Hildreth for 20 years. Sifu Kelan’s instruction is excellent. He clearly demonstrates how to do the stances, forms and martial applications. He also talks about the history and philosophy of Hung Gar Kung Fu. Tulsa Kung Fu also offers private lessons, San Shau/Sanda Kickboxing and Tai Chi Classes. If you are looking for a place to learn real Kung Fu, Tulsa Kung Fu is the place! Brent Graber

Such a great atmosphere with a wonderful sifu who uses Kung Fu as an avenue to teach life skills such as respect, self-control, confidence and much more. He pours into each one of his students making them a better version of themselves. This is a great place for all ages. My 10 year old son has been attending and I have seen so many positive changes in a short amount of time. He makes it fun and engaging while teaching fundamental skills. So thankful for Tulsa Kung Fu school!

Hands down, no better place to learn kung fu! We practice Hung Gar & Choy Li Fut styles. Very traditional styles but we also learn how to apply them for the modern world. The students are very friendly. Everyone has a good attitude and is very welcoming of new students. You will learn stances, blocks, punches, kicks, sweeps, throws, joint locks, etc... And it's great exercise! You will gain strength and flexibility. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about the experience here. I do believe you try a class for free. If you give it time you will love it!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Both of my kids are taking Kung Fu classes here, and we couldn’t be happier! My son loves it, and my daughter—who just started last month—is absolutely loving every part of it. She’s more excited than ever to learn, and we’ve already noticed a big change in her focus. She’s always saying, “I’m focusing, focusing, focusing!” which is amazing for a child who normally has a hard time concentrating. Sifu is truly one of the greatest people we’ve ever met. He’s not only an incredible teacher, but you can genuinely tell that he loves what he does and that he’s truly there for the kids. He puts his heart into every class, and it shows. Our entire family loves and respects him so much. We are beyond thankful that he’s teaching our children the art of Kung Fu. We recommend this place 1,000,000% to anyone looking for something positive, empowering, and life-changing for their kids!

We booked a 2 hour party for our annual cousins camp. It was an amazing experience! Activities were engaging and purposeful...all connecting fundamental concepts of kung fu with everyday life skills. It was incredible how well they were able to involve all of our kiddos, from 3 years old to teenagers. Great experience and we will definitely book again!
