Early socialization and basic manners for young puppies in a controlled, playful environment.
Foundation skills including sit, down, stay, impulse control, and loose leash walking.
Preparation for competitive obedience trials and advanced command training.
Introduction to agility equipment and courses for fun or competition.
Training and guidance for dogs aiming to become certified therapy animals.
Focused sessions on specific skills like loose leash walking or trick training.
The confirmation class did not feel very helpful. Im sure the agility and obedience type classes are awesome. Just specifically the confirmation class felt like a waste of time.
had 2 dogs crammed in each small crate, two older women working didn’t interact with anyone. You are there to promote a brand at the minnesota state fair & you have 2 dogs in each crate scratching & panting, falling all over eachother
I’ve done three different training classes here with two different dogs. The little puppy class pretty much allows your puppy to run around with other dogs and learn one trick each week. Basic training does a good job doing sits, downs, mat training, impulse control, and some light loose leash walking.
My two frenchies say my human training has been coming along nicely with the help of TCOTC's wonderful program and instructors. 😄 My 1.5 year old male (Ferdinand) has accompanied me through Puppy Socialization, Tweeners, Basic Obedience and currently, Loose leash walking classes - all with TCOTC. (We will be starting Competition Bedrock soon with our sights set on agility.) My 5 month old female (Anika) has completed Tweeners and is currently in Puppy Basic Obedience. They are hopeful therapy dog candidates and already join me in the office to work with clients. 🩷 We're looking forward to exploring agility, competitive obedience and possibly conformation as well. I love that TCOTC offers all of this under one roof! We really appreciate the clear, consistent, quality instruction from trainers. The positive attitudes and approach to training are greatly appreciated. It's clear that everyone here loves animals and cares very much about providing valuable experiences to dogs and their pet humans. If I reach for constructive feedback, my thoughts go to aspects of the building and website. Some walls/foundation appear to be crumbling, I believe there is no AC, urine soaked floors (which I understand! 😂). The entrance/exit area can create some stress/pressure, confusion and back ups. The website, class descriptions and process for signing up is pretty user-friendly overall, though some details can be a little tricky to figure out, especially for newbies. A quick call or email has always proven to be helpful. However none of these things are significant enough to take away from the overall very positive experience we've had at TCOTC. We have so much fun & are extremely grateful to have such a wonderful club to train with. Big thanks to all who make TCOTC possible! 🐕💖🐕
The staff and classes at TCOTC are great! Have had 4 family dogs participate in their obedience training over the years and really appreciate the positive reinforcement based curriculum :- ) Bonus: applying their same methodology to teaching our lil' Yorkie mix to be a circus lion for Halloween worked like a charm!!
