UBreakiFix was recommended by Google for repairs. I needed a new battery and screen replacement and took my phone to the North Austin location. Kelby, Jimmy, and Myra were great. Some of the keys on my MacBook were sticky because a few drops of liquid got into the keyboard. I called Apple and even though the keyboard and top case are only about $300 or so, Apple told me that if there was any sign that there was any liquid they were going to charge me $1100, which is ridiculous. I understand that they are trying to make sure that their warranty is good, but I know that all I need is the keyboard. So I called uBreakiFix, and it was easy. They can do it much faster, and much cheaper, and if you sign up for their Insurance, which is $29 a month then it’s really cheap. The people there are good and very helpful. I would probably take everything I have to them from now on instead of going to Apple unless it is still covered under Apple‘s warranty.
