uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair

The website says that they do free diagnostics, and that most repairs are completed within one day. When I tried to take my pc in, they said the diagnostic fee is $40, and the free diagnostic is only if you are paying the $39/month membership. Then when I was given my receipt for dropping it off, the estimated pickup was the next day, however when I asked the tech how long he said it would be at least 2-3 weeks. This place seems super shady in that they do all this to get you in there and just hope you will leave your stuff with the anyway despite the disappointment. Me and one other person who were trying to drop repairs off decided to go elsewhere. The other person has been chatting with them online about repairs to his Xbox, he showed me the yelp chat where whoever managed the page told him his repair would be $149+tax. Then the same technician in the store said it will be between $199-$249. The technician disputed that anyone told him $149 because he supposedly was the person running all the chat, but when the other guy showed him the chat he said he didn’t know anything about that. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.

I'm over the moon happy with my repair. It was quick and straight forward. Price was great for what I got in return..my memories..I don't do back ups often so I didn't want to lose our newest grandbabies pics..Thank you to Isaac and Garrett in Bakersfield on Calloway!!

I brought my iPhone 13 in with a completely shattered screen. They replaced the screen perfectly, but when they powered the phone on to test it, it wouldn’t boot at all—turns out there was an underlying software/mainboard issue that had nothing to do with the broken screen and wasn’t visible until they put a working display on. Instead of charging me for the new screen anyway (which a lot of places would have done), they immediately put my original broken screen back on, explained everything clearly, and told me they could attempt a software repair but it wasn’t guaranteed. Best part: they didn’t charge me a single cent for the time, diagnosis, or the screen swap they already did. That kind of honesty is extremely rare these days. Most shops would have kept the money and left me with a still-broken phone. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future repairs and recommending them to everyone I know. I was greeted greeted by an associate, the minute I walked into the store. Employees are respectful and cordial, they know their trade and work fast to solve customers' phone problems. I am satisfy with the work on my phone and the treatment I received at uBreakifx.

This is not my reflection on the local company contracted to do my repair. The gentleman at the shop were professional, courteous, and competent. I would highly recommend uBreakiFix! Thank you for the outstanding work on my Samsung 25 plus! My dealings with Asurion were horrible. They contacted me after the first appointment was missed telling me thst they would need to reschedule. This is after waiting for 2 hours. Asurion then state thst They would have someone come to my house the following week. I received a call from Asurion, but nobody answered me on their end. After waiting 10 seconds I hung up. I then received an email stating that I missed my appointment. I contacted Asurion and wasted 20 minutes on the phone to finally get an appointment at a shop rather than at home mobile repair as had been previously scheduled.
