So happy with our visit as new clients. Our dog was handled with care and was given a thorough examination. The office was clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Thank you!

I brought my dog in for a dental cleaning and they pulled their teeth out without my permission or a phone call. I’ve been going to uptown vet for over 30 years ( granted under multiple ownerships ) I’ve had 4 different dogs there and dozens of cleanings and have always gotten a phone call to discuss with me the plan. I brought it up with the Dr who did the cleaning and she dismissed my concern. I asked for the owner to call me. When he finally did, he acted clueless to the situation and just said that’s the way it is now. Quickly told me to go somewhere else and sent all my dog’s records over to me within 5 minutes of hanging up. Dr Antonia Lombeida was very rude and defensive. Update 2/5/2026 I have now gone to another vet to renew my dog’s medication. Within 5 min of the check up, the new vet pointed out that not only does my dog have cataract in one eye, she also has a lense luxation in the other eye. I have talked about her bad vision with uptown vet for 5 years and not one Dr there ever mentioned these eye conditions. Very disappointed and I hope it’s not too late to do something about these problems at this point.

I cannot recommend Uptown Vet Clinic enough! From the moment we started coming here, the level of care and professionalism has been unmatched. One of the things that stood out most was the thoroughness of the veterinary staff. My pet was originally my foster before I officially adopted her, and the vet went above and beyond by personally making calls to gather all her previous medical history and info. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they had the full picture of her health. A huge shoutout to Alora, one of the techs! She is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and shows such genuine care. It meant the world to me that she even remembered my girl’s name had changed from Leah to Luna—it’s those small, personal touches that show they truly see your pet as an individual, not just another appointment. On top of the amazing staff, the clinic offers: Flexible Scheduling: They were great at working around my schedule to get us in. Wide Scope of Services: It’s a one-stop shop for everything we’ve needed. Fair Pricing: I always feel like the costs are transparent and very reasonable for the high quality of care provided. If you’re looking for a clinic that treats your pets like family, Uptown Vet is the place to go!
