Had a fantastic climbing experience here! The gym has a good variety of boulder problems - probably on the more challenging side (due to the overhangs). More importantly, I appreciated how I was greeted with hospitality and warmth. As a tourist, I didn't have my chalk bag with me - but the folks were kind enough to lend me theirs for a few hours, a gesture which I again appreciated. If I had more time in the city, I would have loved to check out their other branches. Until next time - and thank you!

I had a great experience at Urban Climb Newstead today. Staff very friendly and helpful, great variance of climbs and grades. Still fairly new to climbing, but there was still lots of climbs to keep me busy at the stage I’m at! Me and my partner are moving to Brisbane later this year and will be looking for a climbing gym to call home, Urban Climb is certainly a top contender! 👍🏼🧗

Great place to climb and chill! Pros: - great climbs/good vibes - quieter than the other 2 gyms at times - great doggos - several bouldering rooms! - close to good coffee Cons: - hard to find parking :'(

A very nice climbing gym, a different vibe from their west end gym which a bigger one. This one feels a bit more cozy and chill; they also have a second floor with a ping pong table, a mat area to stretch your muscles out and a high table if you wanna take out a book to read or something; they also have wifi for their guests so overall quite a nice place to chill - and needless to say but the staff and climbing routes are superb!!
