Dr. Townsend is a true gem and I am so grateful to have had him do my Moh's procedure! He is so kind, patient and personable with the most wonderful bedside manner! He explains everything in detail and takes the time to answer any questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone! He is truly a blessing to the medical profession!
This is my second visit for skin surgery and again an excellent experience. (The first was about 10 years ago.) Competence and kindness by the nurse, Katlin and that of Dr Townsend, as before, provided explanations to be sure I had a full understanding of the reasons for a surgical remedy. During the surgery he provided information as to what was happening so that I felt comfortable. The after-care of the wounds was carefully explained, all questions answered, and I return in two weeks for removal of stitches. I know the long-term effects will be successful as was the first surgery.
I visited with Dr Townsend after I had a diagnosis of a basal cell carcinoma on the side of my nose. I was not comfortable with the surgeon that I was assigned. She had less than 5 years experience and I did not want to take a chance on having any mistakes during the procedure. I went on Google and looked for any surgeon who had more experience. I was lucky enough to find Dr Townsend who had a wealth of experience. I met with him and after reviewing my pathology report from the previous medical group, we spent some time going over the report together and he did a thorough examination of the area where I had previously had my biopsy. Dr Thompson's bedside manner was very pleasant and understanding. He suggested that we may not need to do anything right away, but that we may just watch it. I was very pleased with everything Dr Townsend had to say and I look forward to going back with him soon and finishing up our consultation. I feel thoroughly satisfied and content if he decides that we must do the Mohs surgery. He has my utmost confidence.
The office is so welcoming and calming. The staff is genuinely kind and puts you at ease. Dr. Townsend is amazing at connecting with his patients and his surgical work. Very very impressed and highly recommend Dr. Townsend!
Dr. Townsend and his staff are exceptional! They work so hard and truly care about every aspect of the patient. He’s so good at what he does….like a perfectionist and that’s exactly what I would want for working on my face. Office staff is also super friendly, smart, and quick to respond. Simply the BEST!
