So this location has been claiming it is going out of business for almost a year now, it is a scam to get people in the door to buy their horrible quality furniture. I spent over 800 on a king size bed frame and it began to break in three different sections. First the front legs fell off(its one piece) the nails were so short so we put it back with longer nails. Then the slates one by one and the wooden legs going down the middle began to break one after the other. I called the store and never got a call back, the person who picked up said they were filming and would let the manager know. I proceeded to apply new aluminum slats to the bed so it would be functional. A few months later the side of the bed snapped off as seen in the pictures. You can see the cheap materials and again very short nails. I sent the complaint to customer service with those exact pictures. I got a call saying there is nothing they can do because I altered the bed. So I am having to deal with a $800 dollar loss because I attempted to make it work. They said pretty much it's on me because I didn't get in touch with them for the first break and I have no proof of calling them months ago. So I want to save people time and money, go somewhere with good customer service and warranties. Did they expect me to wait weeks for an answer and have no bed to sleep on?? Bought a new bed from Bob's they have great customer service and easy to get in touch with. Value city is horrible, so is Ashley furniture because it is their products. Cheap horrible quality, just look at the pictures yourself. Also the representative was rude, she says what I applied broke the bed, how does she know, is she an engineer? It had nothing to do with it, she just wants a reason to not refund me of course.
