We had such a wonderful experience tonight, thanks to Sarah. We were sitting and waiting for about 5-10 minutes when she arrived, and from that moment, everything changed. She came to us straight away with a warm smile and was so kind and attentive. Since we're new to the Gold Coast area, she really took the time to help us. She assisted us in creating a new pizza with different toppings and made great suggestions. She also recommended and provided a lovely drink. Everything was organised quickly, and the food came out fast as well. Her customer service and care were absolutely excellent. We honestly didn't expect that level of service, but she truly went above and beyond. My wife and I were celebrating in Surfers Paradise, and she made our night even more special. We're giving her 10 out of 10 without a doubt. Friendly, professional, quick, and such a genuine smile. We really appreciate her support and hope she continues giving the same amazing care to other customers. Thank you, Sarah! Hari

Vapiano Soul Boardwalk was a favourite for many years, and then the décor (sterile atmosphere with harsh white lighting) and order process was changed, and for me it lost much of its appeal. I returned with my son on Friday night, his choice, and it was good to see décor has gone through yet another change, and it’s a much “warmer” and welcoming space. Balsamic still missing from tables though 🙁; always enjoyed that with the complimentary piece of bread. Speaking of which bread is no longer complimentary but is still available at $1. My favourite order, Pesto e Spinaci w Chicken, was as delicious as ever, and an extremely generous portion. And we appreciated the warm and friendly service from Sarah. Thank you Sarah! I might return in the future, but my No 1 go to Vapiano is in Albert Street Brisbane, followed closely by Vapiano in the Grace Building in the Sydney CBD. I also like the outlet on the Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne. So definitely still a fan of Vapiano, but not so much locally.

From the minute we stumbled upon this gem late(ish) on a Tuesday evening we were greeted by friendly, welcoming staff. They happily repositioned us when we observed a fabulous street performer in the Mall. Sarah was our lovely waitress who was so lovely, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. A couple of our selections had run out, which was fine with us as it highlighted the freshness of their ingredients. Serving sizes were generous. We couldnt eat all our food and took the largest of our leftover meals with us in a container and gave it to a grateful homeless couple on the way back to our hotel. And while there treat yourself to a cocktail, i had a Magarita.

I would like to express my disappointment with the recent changes to the restaurant, as they have significantly affected the overall dining experience. Previously, the concept of ordering directly at the kitchen and settling the bill before exiting created a welcoming, homely, and fresh atmosphere. Unfortunately, this has been lost. The new interior design further contributes to an environment that feels cold and uninviting. I ordered the Gamberi pasta, which traditionally came with a white creamy sauce. This has now been changed to a red sauce, while the creamy sauce has been reassigned to the Gnocchi Gamberi, a change that does not make sense. Additionally, the garlic pizza bread was once simple to order, generously sized, and round in shape. It has now become unnecessarily complicated with multiple options, significantly smaller in portion, and overpriced. Although the garlic and cheese pizza bread was listed at $12, I was charged $20 due to confusion during ordering. Upon arrival, we stood at the entrance while the manager, despite noticing us, appeared reluctant to assist and preferred that staff handle the situation. However, due to the volume of customers, the staff were occupied, and the manager eventually stepped in. While most staff were doing their jobs adequately, the overall service lacked friendliness. After finishing our meal, we left without any acknowledgment. In the past, there was always a warm and polite interaction upon payment, accompanied by a sincere expression of thanks. Regrettably, this level of hospitality is no longer present.

It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had here. The food, especially the pizza and pasta, was absolutely delicious. We visited this place right after arriving in Gold Coast! The most memorable part was the staff member named Mr. Dan. He was incredibly kind and polite, and he helped create a wonderful memory for me and my wife. We will never forget that moment. If we get the chance to visit Gold Coast again, we will definitely come back here.
