Gorgeous location, delicious food, and impeccable service. The Panzanella salad was refreshing and full of flavor. The Radiatore was light and tasty especially the fennel sausage and homemade pasta. Thank you Ashley for the recommendations and lovely service.

The food, service and atmosphere were absolutely amazing! My husband and I went there for our Anniversary dinner on 1/13/26. The spot right to the left of the red piano was super nice. The chairs were comfy and the dimmed lights added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The employees were absolutely amazing and super friendly. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs. I will say that the meatballs were huge! And the spaghetti noodles were so good and you can tell they were made from scratch. I highly recommend this place for a birthday dinner, anniversary dinner or a place you want to get fancy for. You don’t have to get fancy but for the occasion I totally loved it.

We visited this restaurant for a girls night out. The atmosphere was really nice & the vocalist who was performing had an amazing voice. Our bread came out burnt & we requested a replacement which was better. I ordered Tuna Tonnato Carpaccio for my appetizer. I didn’t like it. My entree, Chicken Marsala had a good flavor and made up for the appetizer. For dessert, I ordered Tiramisu. I didn’t like it but the other ladies loved it. Lovely restaurant but I don’t have the palate for the food.

I went to Varia with friends in November right after Thanksgiving. We went to eat their after Winterfest and seeing the battleship with Christmas lights. Varia was within a short walk of that venue. Located in the hotel. It was absolutely a whole Vibe. Upon arrival my party and I were seated right in the center in front of a red piano and Franck Sinatra cover singer. We were serenaded as we ate. I absolutely loved it. The ambiance was wonderful and Christmasy. I also like the quirky Art displayed all over the hotel and near the restaurant. But the food is what took it over the top. It was excellent Italian food. Unique flavors, delicious offerings and fabulous presentation. I was so glad I listened to the other reviews and led my group here. They all thought it was amazing. Singing along and being sung to at dinner was icing on the cake. Definitely will come back when next I am in Norfolk.

I dined here last night with my 10 year old daughter (who is a bit of a picky eater). We both LOVED the fancy atmosphere, and our server, Reece, was just wonderful helping my daughter find something to order that she was excited about. The best part was the flaming tiramisu - my girl was wide-eyed! We had a great time.
