First time here, nice place and there is a restaurant. Only down fall was the jump park was super low on air and we paid for a day pass and they could not fill any of the floats to capacity so you sank and climbing was difficult… but it was still cool.

We came here for a birthday party. The kids had fun, but the amenities, food, drinks, and equipment are subpar. The lady who made my cocktail, took cash and then without washing her hands, squeezed limes in my drink! The bar was incredibly disorganized. Took 25 minutes to get my drink and I had to watch for the food to come out because there was just a table where they were placing the food. Not sure how they were supposed to know which was mine as they didn’t give me a receipt. We finally went out to the obstacle course. No instructions or help getting started. I had to ask another guest what we do- get your own life vest. Does it fit properly? Idk, but good luck! The life guards were either on their phones or talking to each other. Definitely watch your kids if you’re there because they are not. Some of the obstacles were not blown up and the over all experience was subpar. The restrooms were dirty with a lot of flies and the trashes were full. Not impressed and will not return.

My husband and I have been coming to Velocity for years and it's such a wonderful place to spend our off time. Beach sites are fabulous and the food at the on-site eatery is insanely good. They even had the most delicious local fresh oysters today. Can't wait to spend more time here in the future.

The kids had fun on the obstacle course and the food was pretty good. However, I would definitely need to see changes, and an investment to improve the amenities, if I ever go back. The staff was nice, but not professional, as evidenced by the life guard who watched his iPhone wristwatch vs. my kids, and the food counter attendant who was eating both times I went to the counter. The most popular section of the obstacle course is apparently broken beyond repair and just laying off to the side, which was very disappointing for my kids, and the water did not appear sanitary. For the price I would expect this place to have more shade, more seating, more grass or pavement (less dirt and gravel), and a drinking fountain or (better) a water bottle refill station.

Great summertime attraction for all ages. Helpful staff will teach you to wakeboard. Bar and restaurant are stocked with a wide variety of quality items. Beach rentals are available and aqua park is super fun. Pricing is fair and they have package deals to take advantage of. Definitely covid friendly; outdoor seating, socially distanced stickers, constant sanitizing of equipment and surfaces, and dedicated personal areas available.
