Vesper is such a great school! My son (9 yrs old now) started piano lessons at the young age of 5. He’s had 3 teachers, over the years and all of them have been top notch. His current teacher, Addison, is wonderful! He’s calm, patient, and encouraging, and his commutation is great! My son has improved significantly, especially in the last year or so. Practice at home, not always a popular activity, has become something he truly enjoys now, and even when we had to push him to practice, he never wanted to stop his lessons. He gets so much from piano, beyond just the music skills. It’s a time to slow down, to build mental agility, and confidence. Vesper also puts on biannual recitals. Participation is never required, but always encouraged. They do a great job of preparing the students for the recital. They even run through a mock recital at the lessons leading up to it. The recitals are a fabulous way for the students to showcase their hard work and dedication, as well as to have the experience of playing in front of an audience, in a venue that feels professional, with fantastic acoustics. I’m continually impressed by the talent showcased by the student performers, and it’s so fun to see them improve each time. Becca (founder) and Paul (general manager) are wonderful to work with, and are really great people with a true passion for sharing their love of music. I’m grateful to have such a gem of a music school in the community.

Vesper has been great to work with on both music lessons that make sense for our kiddo and getting us into our ideal time slot, once it became available. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their kiddo started with music lessons.

I have three children who have taken lessons at Vesper over the last 6 years-from elementary to high school age. We have found the teachers here to be very knowledgable, kind, patient, and inspiring. There are recitals twice a year, which are a fun opportunity for students to share their hard work in a super supportive and encouraging environment. Communication is great! Paul, the general manager, is quick to reply and helpful with rescheduling lessons and anything else you might need. I always recommend Vesper to anyone looking for music lessons.

My experience with Vesper has been truly great! My now late-teens daughter has been taking lessons with them for years, she started when she was just starting high school. She has been so inspired on her instrument (guitar) that she actually really WANTS to go to her lessonsI They have some truly excellent teachers. The entire operation is well-run by owners who are great at communication — everything from payments to recitals to lesson scheduling is super clear. Vesper holds concerts/recitals (which I believe are optional for students to do — nice, but my daughter was so inspired she always wanted to do them), and these concerts are filled with such joy that they are a big testament to how much the students are enjoying and learning at the school. I can wholeheartedly recommend Vesper for lessons, whether your student is young or old!

We've had a fantastic experience with Vesper! Our oldest daughter (now 8) started piano lessons here with Stephanie and absolutely loves it. She looks forward to every lesson, and we're so impressed by the school's professionalism and engaging teaching approach. Teaching young kids to love piano can be challenging, but Vesper makes it fun while building a strong foundation. We also appreciate that it's a small, locally owned business--it feels great to be part of a neighborhood music school. Over time, we've had lessons with other instructors (due to vacations and make-ups), and every one of them has been outstanding. We highly recommend Vesper to anyone looking for music lessons!
