What an incredible place! Ended up there last night after I inadvertently handed my dog my prescription sleeping pill instead of his treat. Absolutely horrified, I drove over there and from the moment I walked in with Henry, I was impressed. Impressed with how multiple staff members greeted me and did the triage immediately. The doctor came over and I explained my situation, and they got right on it and took care of him. The place was super busy, but everyone made sure to make eye contact and be as helpful as they could to every pet parent and fur baby of all kinds. Obviously we were in a "watch & wait" mode so there was a few hours of sitting around but it was totally totally worth it, as I knew they were all watchful to make sure my sweet boy didn't go sideways. And fortunately we were able to go home without anything serious side effects...and it's entirely possible he didn't actually eat the pill but I wasn't taking any chances. Every single person there was AMAZING!!!

I am from out of town and came to VEG. They were amazing, triaged my pet as soon as I walked in to establish acuity. They were very busy with sicker pets than mine so my wait was longer. That was OK. I was very impressed with their work dynamics and treatment efficiency. It really felt like an emergency room and I would recommend this veterinarian office to anybody in need of emergency services for their pet. It was also really quiet and calm inside the clinic. Even with the emergencies happening. The also check in on your pet two days after your visit. Really shows that they care. Thank You so much for your help to all the staff

My dog was recently the victim of a horrific coyote attack in our own backyard. This facility’s rating is not near high enough, in my opinion! They deserve 5+ stars. My dog could not wait for medical attention or care, as his injuries were extensive, and he didn’t have to wait. WhenI brought him in, they yelled for triage and the action began, right in front of my eyes. The clinic is open floor plan. I could see all of his care and he could see me. Not only is ALL of the staff amazingly supportive, attentive, and kind, but their medical team is the best I’ve seen. Our surgeon, who performed two surgeries and provided critical care to my dog, was beyond impressive as a clinician, and her bedside manner was unsurpassed. I was included in every aspect of the treatment planning and all steps/charges were fully explained to me up front. If you ever have a pet who requires emergent care, this is the place to go! They saved my pet and are worth every penny.

We had an exceptional experience at VEG during one of the most frightening nights of our lives as pet parents. Our dog was brought in after experiencing severe cluster seizures, and from the moment I walked through the door, I felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. The open-concept layout made a huge difference — being able to stay with our dog in a quiet, padded room overnight brought so much comfort. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed, from the clean bathroom facilities to the water and coffee station, which meant a lot while I was exhausted and overwhelmed. Most importantly, the medical team and staff were outstanding. I was an emotional wreck, and every person we interacted with was calm, compassionate, and incredibly professional. They took the time to explain everything clearly, were fully transparent about costs, and worked with us without any pushback or judgment. We felt like true partners in our dog’s care. What stood out most was how they cared for us just as much as they cared for our dog. They respected how deeply bonded we are to him, and that level of empathy alongside top-notch medical care meant everything to us. We are deeply grateful to the entire VEG team and would not hesitate to return or recommend them to anyone needing emergency care for a beloved pet. Happy to report our dog Zeke is back home and stable.

My German Shepherd who I consider like my 12 year old child collapsed for no apparent reason. I brought her to the nearest 24 hour vet hospital. They are truly amazing here the bedside manner helped not just her but me. I hope you never have to bring your dog to them but if there is an emergency they WILL take care of you as well as your fur baby. I can’t thank them enough.
