I had an emergency flat tire and had no idea what to do. I searched for tire repair and started calling shops. Many couldn’t see me today or were closing early. Village Auto told me come in and we’ll patch it today if it’s patchable. I got towed there and waited anxiously to find out if I’d be on the road or if I’d be leaving my car to get a replacement tire. An hour later I was back on the road. I am so thankful to Candito and his team! They were knowledge, friendly and they delighted me with a great price (I hadn’t even asked for prices given my desperation). There are shops that take advantage of situations like this. They could easily tell me it’s not patchable and require me to order a tire and purchase additional services. Thankful to have found Village Auto and their honest shop.
This auto repair shop is a gem! I let them replaced my front and back brake pads and rotors for my 2021 mazda cx30 last 2023, and all i can say is they did an fantastic job! 5 stars! Very honest mechanics! I have already moved to Edmonton but if my somebody will ask me if where is a go to mechanic in Toronto, i would definitely recommend this shop!
Candido and crew fixed my ‘63 Chevy II. I had a whole season of the car stalling. No one in Toronto was able to solve the problem. Thanks Village Auto Tech!
Been to my share of mechanics but this one is a lifer 😁. The owner, son and mum is the nicest, kindest and most honest family run business around. I trust them 💯. Their prices are reasonable and they do honest work and charge honest rates and fix what needs to be fixed. If you want a mechanic you won’t question and feel at ease leaving your spare key this is the place. Been bringing my car, truck and higher end car here for years and won’t go anywhere else. Awesome ppl ✌️❤️
My exhaust pipe was banging against my car. Took it in thinking it was something else. They informed me its the exhaust pipe which they will replace at $1500 but refused to fix due how told and damaged the pipe was. I agreed. Then car was pulling to the right and shaking. Took it back in and they did alignment and balancing. 2 months pass and car is still shaking a bit. When i went for seasonal tire change i let the owner know the car still shakes when i break. The owner said its because of my tires being different sizes (i agree, one of them was bigger than others but in the 5 years i had it it never shook before!!!). I took the owners word since he is the professional and i trusted him. (I had also spoken to a lady over the phone prior to going in who gave me assurance that even with the shake it was okay for me to continue to drive. I am not in any risk -- terrible advice!!!!!!) Changed my tires to spring. Thinking the shaking will stop since summer tires all match. Nope the car continued to shake so i took it into another mechanic who informed me my rotors needed replacement. The people were very nice but evidently incompetent or lazy. After spending close to 2k within 6 months, and trusting every word of the owner. I am really disappointed in their service. Its unfortunate because i was looking for a permanent mechanic but trust plays a big role and i have no trust in them after this experience.
