I’ve been seeing Geoff Howie at Vitality Chiropractic for around 4–5 years and have had a genuinely positive experience throughout. I’ve dealt with long-term spinal issues, and Geoff is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in understanding the whole picture. He explains things clearly and tailors treatment in a way that feels considered and supportive. With his care, I’m doing better physically now than I was years ago, and I’ve always felt listened to and well looked after. I highly recommend Geoff if you’re looking for a chiropractor who is thorough, attentive, and truly invested in their clients.

For months, I was suffering with horrendous intermittent back pain, on bad days I wasn’t able to walk properly, I felt crooked and bent over. I couldn’t even tend to my garden without suffering for days afterwards. I was unable to do anything that was even slightly physically demanding without severe repercussions. At 56 I thought that was it for me and I was on a downward spiral to old age. I was getting very frustrated and disheartened as I love sports and being active. I decided to see if a Chiropractor could help me. I researched and found Vitality and I liked the holistic view point stated on their website. I booked an appointment with Geoff who is the nicest guy. He listens to you and he soon understood who I was as a person which helped me a lot. He clearly cares about people and enjoys his work. He sent me for an X-Ray before any treatments as he does not like to guess a diagnosis. I had a twisted pelvis and a few discs out of alignment which sounded bad to me but Geoff reassured me he could help. It can be quite unnerving at times having the treatments but Geoff doesn’t rush you and he gives clear instructions which did help me relax. I had to learn to be patient, which for me was very challenging but Geoff encouraged me throughout the process reminding me not to rush back into activities as I would set myself back and have to start again. I was grateful for the weekly reminders, it took a while to sink in. After about 5 months of weekly treatments I am now pain free, no longer crooked or bent over. I have slowly built up to playing sports twice a week and able to work hard in my garden without suffering for days afterwards. I have to stay aware and not overdo things, it will always be a big challenge but I do feel like I have a good future and I can stay fit and healthy enjoying plenty of sports & different activity’s.

Having had ongoing issues post surgery I decided to try Chiro- I had nothing to lose and even though I felt sceptical I was willing to give it a go. I am so glad I did Dr Geoff has been so good and explained so much. I already feel a difference, it will be a long journey but I’m so excited to see the end results and trust him immensely- thankyou 🙂 the practice staff are all so lovely and welcoming too.

We came to Vitality earlier in the year when my teenage son was having ongoing back pain and knee problems. Imagine our surprise when Dr Geoff figured out the issue wasn't growing pains but actually undiagnosed scoliosis that no one else had picked up! In his usual, upbeat and positive manner, he set about giving him a care plan that has had my son back on the hockey field, skatepark and ice rink within a couple of months, feeling so much better and with the tools to keep his future visits to a minimum. Geoff is so good at what he does and really cares about his patients. We can't thank him enough!
