My friends and I had such a great time for my bachelorette. Ed was great and very responsive to any questions I had. I definitely recommend doing at least a 3 hour ride. Time goes by quickly and you won’t want to leave!
Captain Ed was beyond amazing as he took my friend and I sailing around NYC on our 4 hr charter. Due to some typical NYC traffic we were 30 minutes late and I gave him the heads up. He was completely ok with it (whew!) despite leaving 1.5hrs early from Queens. He warmly greeted us, talked with us, he explained to us how the boat worked, he even came over and told us when he's putting a sail up and which ropes to watch out for so that we wouldn't get hurt. At times if we needed to get something from downstairs he was more than willing to help us. He certainly made the experience a memorable one. I am DEFINITELY considering another sail with him. He was professional and very knowledgeable at sailing even with some choppy waters thst we experienced. Thanks, Captain Ed for everything!
What an amazing thing to do in NY! We were celebrating a friend's birthday and we had such an amazing time. Captain Ed was so lovely and accommodating, taking many photos and showing us the sights. Would recommend this to everyone. Definitely a must do!
If you've never been on a beautiful sailboat, at sunset, with the Statue of Liberty silhouette against a fiery red sky, do so as soon as you can! You'll find no better boat and Captain than Water Music and Captain Ed. Captain Ed and first mate Darren were wonderful hosts, catering to all our needs! I was looking for something special for a romantic evening and the experience far exceeded my expectations. I'm planning on doing this again soon.
I had an absolutely wonderful sail with Captain Ed on Water Music. It was such a beautiful sailboat! I was celebrating my birthday, and my friends and I ended up spending most of our time on the front of the boat sipping wine and listening to music. Ed and his first mate Kevin were fun and very attentive. At one point they even let me steer the boat. I can't wait to do this again!
