I really wanted to leave a review because it’s rare to come across a business that is genuinely excellent at what they do. I first got in touch via text on 23rd September after struggling to find the contact details, enquiring about a last-minute appointment. As I had never visited the salon before and it was such a busy time of year, I wasn’t expecting a reply, however, the manager got back to me late that evening, answering all of my questions and even allowing me extra time the following day to get there from work. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the absolute loveliest person, Doyin. She was kind, funny, welcoming and hand on heart, gave me the best, fastest and most thorough wax I have ever had. She didn’t miss a single spot (and my hair is long and thick!), and she made me feel completely comfortable throughout. I would recommend Doyin to anyone in Manchester who wants to leave feeling like a silky dolphin! I’ve struggled to find a regular “wax fairy” since moving here, but I can confidently say I’ve finally found the one. I can’t wait to see Doyin again and to meet the rest of the team. Thank you so much!

Experience was fine. It was my first time using a waxing service, so the person was very considerate and lovely. 2 stars lower because I had no idea that WOWOW on the booking was for the women's service next door. Unfortunately as a guy going to get waxing done for the first time I chose to book an appointment at "Wax for Men" because I felt more comfortable going into a place that was, as the title suggests it "For Men" but when I went in I was escorted to the business on the other side of the corridor which was "Wax On Wax Off Women" and felt pretty embarrassing to be sat there with no explanations of why I am there and not at the place I booked. If I wanted to book at WOWOW, I would have booked through that. I do recommend it if it's not something that's an issue to you, but unfortunately, it's not my cup of tea. 😊👋

Booked an appointment for 5.00pm. Show to waiting room, left to wait for 39 mins, eventually told booking had been transferred and if I waited another 30 mins I would be served. So their time is £40 for 15 mins but the customers time is worthless. What's the point of a booking system if they then expect you to wait an hour.
