Zero Follow Up!! I used Welch's Tax Service for our returns based on a review from a friend in 2020. In December of 2021 I received a letter from NE Department of Revenue that they received our payment but never received our return. Fast forward to April of 2024 I receive a notice from the IRS that they never received our 2020 return. I immediately contacted Welch's and requested our return be filed. I have contacted them 7 times and spoke with numerous people, gave my email, confirmed the mailing address, and my return still hasn't been received. I called today and the phone just rings and rings. Extremely disappointing customer service - I would not recommend them.

Deneise is wonderful and very kind...she have the sense of humor in quiet way. Very knowledgeable of her work, and can find you solutions. You just need to be patient with their work as they have alot of clients. Make sure you show up early to file you tax...don't come late and cry.

Absolutely sucks at answering the phone. Been needing my 2022 tax info for school for 2 weeks now and showed up one day to all doors locked and their printer being down. Seems very unprofessional for a tax place and the way it looks inside is absolutely horrible. And found out today from the irs web page trying to get them myself and it says I never even filed it. And I know that I did through this place and so someone didn't do their job right and it never actually got filed nor did I ever receive my tax return that year bc they messed up my address and put it as a place that I worked at that year.

Denise used to be great but she has really gotten unorganized and unstable. She makes promises she doesn’t keep, gives deadlines that are incorrect, tells you it’ll be 3-7 days and then is nearly impossible to get ahold of and also doesn’t file your taxes like promised! She may be a cheaper option, but you get what you pay for in this case. She led me on for 18 days before I got fed up and decided to file elsewhere. She NEVER returns calls or emails back so good luck with that.
