Don and Stephanie were absolutely amazing in giving us a tour of Anchorage! We only had one day here and it was packed with so many beautiful views and fun facts about the history of each area. This was a last minute tour I booked and was probably the best one we took on our entire trip. We got to see so much in one day, thank you guys again!

Thank you to Welcome Anchorage Tours! I had a great tour with Brooks, who is a true Alaskan. He was selfless in sharing his stories about Anchorage and knows a lot about its history. I am a solo traveler, and before this tour, I was exploring the city on my own. This tour helped me learn so much more about the city, and I even met a fellow traveler to share the experience with. I especially loved the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where I saw many adorable animals, such as bears and a lynx, and so on. If I could give this tour a grade, it would be 200 out of 100! Thank you to the company and our tour guide for providing such amazing service! (The photos didn’t turn out great because of the rainy weather.)

I am so glad I picked this tour over the others. Not only did I get to see the Wildlife Conservation Center, I got to step out into nature and explore the beauty of Alaska's wilderness. Don was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and provided us plenty of time to take in nature. I love the additional touch of providing snacks (Alaskan too!) to sustain us through the day. Thank you to everyone at Welcome Anchorage Tours, especially Don! It was a really fun day of exploring Alaska!

Must book this tour/transfer! We cannot express with words how great Corey was, he went above and beyond to make sure we saw plenty of wildlife, had great lunch and coffee in Girdwood, time to shop souvenirs, took us up to the Alyeska ski resort, and drop off us at our hotel. We were picked up at Whittier Cruise Terminal after disembarking at 9am and dropped off until 4pm. We had an amazing time! We’ll be booking again with Welcome Anchorage Tours next time we visit Alaska. Thank you Corey!! LOOOVE my coffee shop magnets!!

Jenny was a FANTASTIC guide and nature interpreter! This was our first ever excursion in Alaska and it was our best excursion during two weeks! Jenny was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, and the area's history. She explained the bore tide and the dangers of mud flats during low tide. She is friendly, warm, and helpful. My wife had injured a knee the day before, without being asked Jenny offered the front passenger seat which was not being used. She was gracious with all of us on the tour. Jenny is passionate about Nature in Alaska, she loves her work and it shows. We learned a great deal from her on the tour. The van was perfect, roomy and comfortable, the big windows were helpful while on the road. All of our other excursions in Alaska were huge groups, and transportation was uncomfortable. Our group size with Welcome Alaska was ideal. Thank you to Jenny and Welcome Alaska for an excellent introduction to Alaska! June 11 2024.
