I love this place !!! I’ve been here little over a year. The transformation of mind and body has been incredible. The owners are super awesome and I respect them allot!! Very patient and will answer your questions. They both keep me really motivated to train hard. Focusing on proper technique and learning to generate power. I would recommend anyone train here from hobbyist to someone looking to compete. This place feels like a second home!!

Travis and Beck are the best psycho’s in the world. Travis never gets tired of yelling which honestly, is super impressive so you have to admire that. It’s his love language. Great people and they genuinely care about their clients. 🙏

Been going for a little over a month. Great classes with focus on the form and fundamentals. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my striking game as well as understanding more of the traditional boxing movements. Both owners are very knowledgeable and patient in explaining exactly what they expect from athletes no matter if you’re a newbie or someone who’s been training for a long-time. The energy is fun in the classes and it’s hard to not push yourself when you see how motivated everyone is. Good consistent energy by the instructors as well. Did a few sparring classes and it’s very apparent that the owners care about safety and well-being of each individual. They are careful about making small adjustments and allowing you time to improve at your pace. Met an Air Force veteran who spent 20 years in the military and he joined class today willing to make positive changes in his life after he struggled with two knee surgeries! It’s very motivating just meeting people from all walks of life. Highly recommend joining and doing at least two classes a week to see results. You’ll have the most fun doing two classes a day 4 days a week. Lost 8lbs in 3 weeks and I can finally do tricep push-ups!

Western Avenue boxing is probably the best gym I could have chosen to start my career off correctly. They've been nothing but the best an I can promise if your putting the work in your gonna get the results you want! Rebbeca (Mrs.coach) and Travis(Mr.coach) are awesome an great coaches to start with. There's plenty a coaches for different tiers or classes so you will definitely have a large pool of knowledge and experience to learn from. This is what I call my 2nd home an the people here are family. I can't speak enough about how brutally awesome the classes and people are.

Western Avenue Gym is an amazing place to get in shape, learn proper technique, and even make some friends. I have been doing the traditional boxer's workout at WAG for almost a year now, and my endurance, strength, and speed have all improved dramatically. I am someone who hates to workout in a gym, so boxing is great for me because it is fun and a really great whole body workout. You can't talk about WAG without saying how awesome Travis and Beck are! They are so skilled in what they do and they are very passionate about teaching their students. They really make you feel like part of the family and encourage you to get better every day. I also love the students that WAG attracts. Everyone is supportive and non-judgmental of others in the class. WAG is just a downright great place to learn and workout. This kind of place is a rare find and a gem right here in Oklahoma City.
