I dined in today and couldn’t help but notice the hostile environment the manager, Luz, was creating. She was rude to her team and also spoke dismissively to a customer who approached her about a bitter batch of sweet tea. It was unprofessional and difficult to understand how someone in a leadership role would set such a negative tone. The experience made me lose my appetite. shout out to angelina for keeping a good attitude and being patient !
I had a very uncomfortable experience while picking up an order at this Whataburger location. While I was waiting, one employee asked their supervisor whether I was female or male, and then both of them began chuckling about it. This happened openly, in front of customers, as if no one could hear them. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Customers should never be discussed, questioned, or mocked in any way especially regarding gender whether directly or indirectly. Whataburger promotes values of respect, inclusion, and professionalism, and this interaction clearly went against those standards. Workplace policies and basic customer service expectations require employees to treat everyone with dignity and to avoid discriminatory or harassing behavior. Laughing about a customer’s gender identity, even quietly or “under their breath,” is inappropriate and creates an unwelcoming environment. I hope management takes this seriously, provides proper training, and reminds staff that all customers deserve respect. No one should feel uncomfortable or disrespected simply for picking up an order.
The workers in this location need to focus better on making burgers. Will not be going to this location again, my order is never right. I'd rather drive farther to a different Whataburger than settling for the Lancaster one.
This staff is always the least interested staff I have ever seen. No one moves around. No one smiles, everyone walks around with their shoulders slumped and looking like they wish they were doing anything but their job. When I got my food, and the girl was handing me my bag, I asked if there was spicy ketchup in the bag... Her reply was "I don't know, check." And walked away. I smiled and told her have a great day... these people wear attitude like a damn uniform.
Took an hour for my order to be ready, asked for my money back instead. Didn’t receive an apology or anything from manager! Also manager didn’t even tried to speak to me or apologize or figure out what happen! The girl who took my order was very sweet but manager needs to be educated on how to treat costumers!
