Shoutout to Dee, the office manager, who was so efficient and friendly from the moment I walked in! As someone who suffers from severe dental anxiety and avoided the dentist for years, I can honestly say the staff from the front desk to the hygienists and Doctors at Whitman Dental truly made a world of a difference for an anxious patient like me. I left feeling significantly more comfortable with lining up my next appointments, as Dr. Lu was so incredibly patient and kind during my visit. She kept me informed every step of the way regarding my treatment plan and coverage, and I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Whitman Dental for changing my perspective around Dentist offices!

This was my third visit at Whitman dental with Dr Chuong. They have been excellent. Extremely kind staff, Dr Chuong explains everything thoroughly and you can tell he cares about his patients. Today I was also assisted by Chichi who was a pleasure to work with as well. Appreciate their financing options as well. Definitely recommend coming here, glad I found them.

Best dental practice in my opinion. Friendly staff and affordable. They offer a payment plan for dental work not covered by insurance. They accept ALL PPO insurance, especially Philadelphia school Teacher, SDP. I’m so thrilled to find an HONEST practice!

I’ve been going to Whitman Dental for over four years, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. I’ve had several excellent dentists during that time, but my current dentist, Dr. Chuong, is truly exceptional. He has a wonderful bedside manner, is always genuinely happy to see you, and is incredibly meticulous in his work. The front-desk staff is equally impressive—friendly, efficient, and always on top of scheduling and communication. They make every visit smooth and stress-free. I fully intend to continue coming here for the rest of my time in Philadelphia.

I had to come in for a tooth extraction and Whitman Dental Center was able to schedule me on really short notice, which I appreciated so much. The online paperwork was quick and easy to fill out before my appointment. Can find free parking nearby since its in a neighborhood area. Anna and Dr. Lu were both super sweet and kind~ They made the whole surgery feel way less scary than I expected. The procedure itself was painless and not too stressful at all. Lauren also helped me go over my payment plan options since I decided to get an implant (which can be pricey), and she made the process a lot less overwhelming. The office is super clean, welcoming, and everyone I interacted with was professional and caring. I felt very taken care of and will definitely be coming back for future visits! 🥰
