This place offers a vendor-based antique shopping experience that has several positive qualities along with a few logistical limitations. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was quite busy. It made the space feel lively but also somewhat crowded. Parking was one of the first challenges, as there are a limited number of parking spots available, so finding a place to park required some patience. Inside, the store features a moderate number of vendors, though the overall variety between vendors felt somewhat limited, with similar types of collectibles and antiques appearing across multiple booths. That said, most items were clearly marked and priced, which made browsing straightforward and eliminated any guesswork about costs. The staff were another strong point. They were attentive, approachable, and knowledgeable, and they were willing to answer questions about items and the store layout. The store is pet friendly, which is a nice bonus for shoppers who like to bring their companions along. There is also one fitting room located in the back, which is helpful for trying on vintage clothing, though having only one may be inconvenient if multiple people need it. Accessibility is technically accommodated, but in practice the tight corners and narrow passageways may make navigation difficult for some visitors. Restroom access is shared between three businesses and includes two accessible, single-stall, all-gender restrooms, both thoughtfully stocked with changing tables and free period supplies, which is a very considerate touch. Checkout required some waiting, as there is one checkout counter with two tellers serving both antique shops, and the line became fairly long. It’s also worth noting there is an upcharge for credit card transactions. Overall, Wild Things Antiques provides a well-organized and welcoming antique shopping environment, though visiting during less busy hours may offer a more comfortable browsing experience.
