Mr. Steve
Bill Robbins and his team took care of my (overly-complicated) tax filing for 6 years while living in Chesapeake. He always made himself available to address questions; no matter how quirky. He really kept me out of a bind when another state claimed I owed thousands in taxes. If I hadn't moved away, I'd still trust Robbins CPA to handle my taxes.

Love Bill and his staff. Have used his service both personally and business wise for 40 years.

I have used this service for my taxes for several years and was very happy with the service, the staff was very friendly and communication was easy. Considering several of my tax issues was less than straight forward, I felt informed and things were always explained well. Since 2020 the communication has been poor, it took a year for me to get my 2019 return, I was instructed to file electronically to get the refund faster, having to keep accounts open that I wanted to close for months, I had no access to the office, no one was able to go over my 2020 taxes as they will not let anyone in the building and communication became poor. my father became involved due to the confusion and difficulty in communication that was only over e-mail. My father ended up having to answer my questions and we are still in communication with the IRS ourselves over penalties that was not explained to either of us. Seems that the pandemic is an acceptable excuse for poor service and communication. I have found a new CPA that stated that agreed with me that a pandemic is not an excuse to not see your clients. I have also become uncomfortable doing business there as politics often crept into the conversations over my taxes. I do not need a lecture or insight on my CPA's feelings about COVID 19 or the president.

Bill was able to get us way more back on taxes than we were going to get ourselves, using turbo tax, and he also got us back way more than a different CPA we tried in the past! He knows his stuff, and is easy to work with!
