My fiancee and I got our wedding bands here after hearing great reviews from two couples. They were right, Russel and Geno are fantastic!
Had a great experience here and wanted to share details. The shop: Clean, well organized, welcoming. They have a nice selection of fine jewelry to meet most tastes and preferences. The staff: Incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. More on that below. The prices: I bought to gold necklace charms for very good prices. He said they were old stock from days of much lower gold prices so he was letting them go for that older price. Repairs: No experience personally but several customers came in while I was there and they seemed to have expert knowledge of all things repair related. My experience: I visited the shop a few weeks ago to price out some earrings. They were the best price at a physical store that I could find. I looked around online as well and ended up finding a deal on something similar that I could not pass up. Well, then buyers remorse set in. Did I get scammed? Are these well below the advertised color, quality, etc? I was suddenly very anxious about what I bought. I decided to take my purchase (made elsewhere) in to the shop not expecting much from them, but he fully understood my concerns and was eager to help. He looked at them under a microscope and confirmed they were what the online retailer said they were and he confirmed the “appraised” value was actually very accurate. The experience and assurance made me feel much better and he never made me feel bad about my decision to buy online. I ended up buying some charms for them for another gift because I was so happy with the experience that I wanted to support their shop. I will be back in the future for repair needs and will always shop here first. Price is important but great customer service is critical and hard to find. If prices are on par with other places, go here! You won’t regret it. Also… one of the associates is a baker and was selling gingerbread cupcakes… they were excellent!!
It’s said when you love what you do, you’re never really working. Russell is a true craftsman that loves what he does. You can tell just by how he speaks about his pieces. Each and everyone one of them are beautiful. My fiancée and I picked out our wedding bands at Russell’s and couldn’t be happier. My ring was special and that I wanted him to use my family’s gold to make it truly unique. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Russell is the ultimate professional- an incredible jeweler and a true gentleman. I cannot say enough good things about him and his work product. After many visits to other jewelers, Russell was the only one who took the time to explain the diamond making process from start to finish, what to look out for, and even brought out microscopes/tools to explain things in further detail. Never once did he pressure me to go out of my price range or come across like he was trying to make a sale. As for the engagement ring..my fiance is OBSESSED with it! Almost everywhere she goes, people (often strangers!) will stop her and gush over it. Nine months later, she is just as in love with the ring as the moment I proposed. Russell created a ring that will bring joy to my fiance for a lifetime. I've since referred several friends and family members to Russell for various jewelry needs and they've all been blown away with his work. I look forward to working with him on our wedding bands. Russell took great care to hand craft a custom engagement ring. He took the time out to inscribe a little inside thing between me and my fiancee on the inside of the beautiful ring he made, and found the perfect deep blue flawless sapphire to top it with. I can't recommend this jeweler enough, especially after going to other places and feeling pressured into something I didn't want. He's here to get you what you want and he's good at it. Come with an idea and Russell will work to make it real.
