I had an amazing experience at Windy City Diamonds. Everyone there was genuinely kind, patient, and so helpful throughout the entire process. Out of the three other shops we visited, we knew this was the right place the moment we sat down with Nica. She was warm, attentive, and never made us feel pressured—just truly supportive and caring. Komal completed my ring, and she was absolutely incredible. From the start, I knew I wanted a custom design and was very particular about the details. Komal took the time to listen, educate, and walk me through every step. She was kind, reassuring, and genuinely wanted me to be completely happy with the final result. She truly brought my vision to life, down to every little detail. I’m beyond grateful to Komal and the entire Windy City Diamonds team for their care, craftsmanship, and genuine kindness. It really shows through in the final piece.

I had a wonderful experience at Windy City Diamonds working with Nica to have the engagement ring made. I started off ring shopping with my now-fiancée and they fit us in on short notice right before close. I had planned to visit multiple stores but found everything I needed here. From there, we had the diamond selected and I was extremely impressed with the level of service Nica provided. She worked with me on every part of the process of designing the ring and addressed each of my concerns carefully. They are flexible with payment and offer great options for design choices and insurance. I highly recommend asking for Nica and using this business for an engagement ring.

I recently bought an engagement ring from Windy City Diamonds. I went through the process with Shiri, who was a joy to work with from start to finish. I chose to go to Windy City because multiple friends have had great experiences there. The first time we visited the store, Shiri was extremely helpful as my girlfriend figured out what kind of band/stone/cut she wanted. Shiri kept detailed notes, and the next time I visited, she reviewed with me everything we’d decided the previous time. She had ready the bands/stones my girlfriend had expressed interest in, in addition to other options, working within my budget. I anticipated that the decision process would be difficult with so many options, but there was a clear winner that matched my girlfriend’s preferences. They let you be as involved in the ring design as you want, from picking a band as-is to drawing up your own design, which they will make for you. I wanted to add a small detail (flower petals along the bass/sides of the stone). They first make a CAD design, then make a wax mold, and if you are happy with it then they make the ring (if you are not happy with it, they keep iterating with you). In my case, the process was very quick – Shiri and the CAD designer helped figure out the best way to incorporate the detail, and I was happy with the first CAD design and wax mold. The ring came out beautifully. Shiri worked around my sporadic schedule, answered a lot of questions, and made the experience overall positive, fun, and memorable. My (now) fiancée loves the ring (and gets compliments on it). I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the market for a ring.

Long overdue post but I remembered to come back to write this because Windy City Diamonds were that fantastic to work with. Komal helped me find exactly what I was looking for in an engagement ring while also providing extremely competitive pricing options. My girlfriend at the time and now fiancé (soon to be wife) is still in love with her ring. I also went back to Windy City Diamonds to purchase my own wedding ring. If you're ever in Chicago's Jeweler Row and wondering where to buy jewelry or an engagement ring amongst the multitude of shops, this is the place to go.

Rose, from Windy City Diamonds, did a fantastic job on both mine and my husbands wedding bands and my engagement ring. She was responsive, easy to work with, and fully understood and executed the vision making the rings stunningly beautiful and comfortable. They custom made both my engagement ring and wedding band and did the engraving for my husbands wedding band as well. I would absolutely recommend going here if you are shopping for rings because they can truly design it all and the process is effortless!
