This is such a beautiful venue. Love, love the architecture and everything about it. It's such a wonderful place to see plays and musicals. All the staff was super friendly and helpful!! What a great experience.
Loved it. Fabulous. Fantastic. Phenomenal. Went to see Sarah Brightman for the first time ever. And the venue did not disappoint! Acoustics are phenomenal. Seating is incredible. There are 5 levels to the opera house. If you get a chance, try the pre concert dinner at The Skyline Terrace. Food is excellent, as is the service. We paid for parking at the time we reserved our tickets. I highly recommend this to make life easier.
This place is hands down one of my favorite venues in downtown Dallas. We went there for a Christmas show and had a blast. They have icicle ligjts that come down before the show and they were in the shape of a Christmas tree and lit up in green and red so pretty. They jad it decorated insode and outsode for the holidays so pretty.
Winspear is so beautiful 😍 we went to watch A Christmas Story the musical, which was a blast! Such a fun play, we sat in the Mezzanine Center Zone, seat 36 & 37 row E. We were a bit off to the right rather than center, but it was very easy to get to our seats as we didn't have to walk around anyone- as soon as we walked in the door our seats were right there and we didn't have anyone blocking our sight. The staff was so professional and courteous and even offered to take a few pictures of my husband and I to remember the night, which was so nice, rather than us taking selfies, which always come out awkward ha ha. I can't wait for the next play at Winspear.
Caught the Australian Pink Floyd show at the Winspear Opera House and I was absolutely blown away. The lights and laser show were stunning — perfectly synced with the music and every bit as epic as you’d hope from a Pink Floyd tribute. It was visually mesmerizing from start to finish. What really put the night over the top was the acoustics in the Winspear. Every note was crystal clear, and the sound seemed to wrap around you without being overpowering. You can tell this space was built with sound quality in mind — it’s honestly my new favorite place for concerts. The venue itself is beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well run. If you get the chance to see a show here — especially one as immersive as Australian Pink Floyd — don’t miss it!
