I'm in the first couple of months at World Martial Arts Academy of Crestwood, this is my first experience in any organized sport of any kind. I was looking for a way to help with my aging loss of coordination, balance, and mobility. I'm already receiving more than I walked in wanting, inclusion, forming friendship, motivation, determination and the sense of belonging to something so much bigger than me. Master Winkler is super outgoing, playful, caring and truly passionate about the art, he is a dynamic martial artist whose irrepressible spirit is matched only by his profound respect for his discipline. Master Parker is laser-sharp focused, meticulously structured, down to earth, and approachable. Master Parker's dedication to perfecting form is contagious and gives me something to work harder to succeed. I truly appreciate the love of the Martial Arts sport these two gentleman have and their excitement they exhibit while in class. I'm very excited to have just received my Yellow belt at the age of 56, but, God willing I will achieve Black Belt by the time I'm in my 60s, an accomplishment I look forward to, ONE BELT AT A TIME!

My son has been so mannerly since we started class, using phrases like, “Yes ma’am” and “please and thank you”. Master Winkler and the rest of the crew are great at instilling respect in a fun manner that really works for us. He’s always so excited to go to class and always comes home on his best behavior.

If your looking to get into Tae Kwan Do, this is the place to do it. Master Winkler and Master Parker are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. They have been patient, kind, and caring since day one, and that's not something you find a lot in martial arts schools. They're literally saints when it comes to patience and understanding of ones limitations. But the greatest thing to come out of this so far is the boost of confidence it has given my son. When other things have been a struggle and knocked him down a peg, he's completely changed for the better. You can't put a price on that. Needless to say, I highly recommend World Martial Arts Academy Crestwood to everyone!!

My daughter and I have been having fun going to classes together and discussing and practicing our martial arts together. Everyone has been so welcoming! I have been encouraged by other students of the academy and that has helped my daughter and I become more confident. The instructors are so knowledgeable and work so well with the children. I find the classes so engaging and fun! I recommend World Martial Arts Academy to anyone who is interested!

My son enrolled for classes over four years ago, before the pandemic. Master Winkler, Master Parker, and everyone at World Martial Arts Academy of Crestwood have been exceptional in providing instruction to my son. The instructors expect students to listen and show excellence, but it is a fun environment, with lots of silliness mixed in. My son still loves going twice a week to be a part of their community and practice taekwondo.
